Do All Watchers Know Each Other Or Of Each Other?

I've wondered this, do ALL watchers know each other or know of each other's reputation?

For example do you think Wesley's father (I think he was a watcher) knew of Giles?

I think they do all at least know of each other. It's an old-fashioned British 'old boys network'. I have a vague recollection of Giles mentioning that he knew of an old watcher 'by reputation only'. I am sure someone will be able to fill in the gaps in my decrepit memory 🙂

yeah i think so, maybe not personally but definitely by reputation, because like jodast mentioned giles does mention knowing an old watcher by reputation and when wesley first appears in buffy he says he heard of the new supposed fake watcher assigned to faith in season 3 Gwendolyn Post's quest at retrieving the glove of Myhnegon so she could have its power.

so yeah, i guess so.
