Do Buffy and Faith have the same blood?

Something that always confused me in the show was vampires and demons craving "slayer blood" and in examples like Faith shooting angel with an arrow it seems like either buffy or Faiths blood would do. So does something happen when they become slayers?
What's everyone's opinion on this?
 
Didn't Dracula answer that? Saying there is a darkness in the slayer blood?
 
i don't think they share the same blood type. I would think that whatever mystical-ness activates in their respective body's when a Slayer is called, somehow changes or mutates a Slayer's blood/dna. That change in the Slayer's blood/dna would be the same but nothing else.

I think each red blood cell in the slayer blood is a micro nuclear reactor. This is why Joyce had brain tumor: her daughter is radioactive.
 
Also Angel seemed affected by having drunk from Buffy even months later in 'City Of...' He was acting like he was a recovering alcoholic or something, so yeah- slayer blood seems to be...uh, nummy?

Willow, Giles and Xander were around her more than Joyce was, yet they didn't get any brain tumors...

Some hiroshima nuclear bomb survivors covered with radioactive fallouts did not get brain tumors either...

Plus Willow/Xander are still very young. And Giles, as a warlock in his Ripper age, must have learnt some anti-spells to this kind of thing. Or the watcher families just had genetic resistance to radioactive slayers.😀
 
Huh, so Buffy and Adam pretty much have the same power source? 😉

Do we know if the slayers in the comics have this blood quality or is it just Buffy and Faith?

Yes! This is why after Willow suggested "uranium extraction spell" in "Primeval", Giles gave her an disapproving look as if he's hiding something.

Goddess. My theory is just becoming truer and truer!

If that's all slayers, then haters can finally have their evidence.

"I know the empowerment spell is not mass rape and all, but hey, it's global radioactive pollution!"
