Do rewatches change your mind about how you feel about a show?

Yes, rewatches can make me feel different about a show. When I first saw Smallville from the first season, I didn't really like it. I'm currently watching it again, and I think it is a great show.

But the big one for me is Xander and Cordelia - when I first watched it I never realised how much cordelia loved Xander and how badly he treated her! I'm so proud of her for never getting back together with him now.

It changed only when I watched the shows the second time. After that, what I think will always remain the same.

I never interested in Buffy character even she's the lead, lol. I completely ignored her. Willow was my favorite character. I thought she's so cute with the quirkyness. But then I started shipping Fuffy so I paid a lot more attention on the Buffster.

Faith always interests me. I didn't like her at first because she didn't have any depth in S3. But then in S4 and Ats S1, it's like a big revelation. I LOVE HER to bits now.

I used to like Spuffy in S7 very much. I thought it's so romantic. Now? Not so much. I have fun practicing eye-rolling. 😛

Used to like Bangel. But after I read

S8. Gotta say I'm a little(just a little, don't kill me, PB and Bangel fans 😛) annoyed to see Bangel together anywhere on screen

Season 6 used to be my fav season. Now? Indeed least fav season.

I'm sure there's more to come. But I can't think of any yet.

Usually, when I re-watch, things become clearer than the first time I watched it. I find myself figuring out things or seeing things that I hadn't the first time around. And some times it takes me a third watch to really get a clear view on it. When I first started watching Buffy I liked Xander, but in season two he really started to bug me. He has his moments like in 'Potential,' but mostly he annoys me. It's the same thing with Spike. At times I can see things about him that other people see and like about him, but every time I think something good about him I just remember that he almost raped Buffy and that still hasn't made me come over to his side. Especially since I was almost raped myself. He just reminds me of bad things. Nothing against James Marsters, he's a good actor, but I could never really like Spike.

My opinion change on the rewatch I hated Xander the first time around but after a few rewatches now I love him.
First time I watched I thought Bangel was ok, kind of sweet. Now I Hate them.
Only thing about ats my opinion has changed on is Fred I didnt mind her the first time around, again now I hate her.
