Do Slayers control their relationships?

In The Zeppo, after Xander helps Faith and drives her back to her motel, they sleep together. Afterwards, she throws him outside. And later on, Xander says that they have a connection, him and Faith. But in fact, she was just using him.

We see here a case of woman using a man for sex, or for personal needs, not really caring for that man she used. Except... that woman is a Slayer.

Do you think that being a Slayer can give her (not just Faith) the wheel in a relationship, or in sex, can give her the control? Does the fact that she has superpowers give her the advantage or the power in a two people relationship? Does it change some sort of balance?

I think you can see that in Buffy and Riley's relationship at some point as well. It's just that slayers are used to being the dominant one in their line of work, they have to be to keep vampires in check and save lives.

I am not sure if I understood you right. I think that you asked me if the psychial stenght which a Slayer develope while being a Slayer, gives them advatages in a reltionship? Is that correct?

I would say that they have one the one hand a harder entry for a relationship if the relationship should be over a long time! We saw that on Buffy who had always some secrets befor Riley in the beginning of their relationship. And then they need more affection. I think with all the problems you have as a Slayer, you need someone to talk, somebody to who you can talk, even about your deepest fears. On the other hand I think that they has to withstand the general day life and save the world against?/before? demons. So they need somebody where they feel safe and try to defend them even more than a partner does in an ordinary couple. So the partner of a Slayer has to be always there for the Slayer and has to listen a little bit more what she tolds him. But if he does he will get a love back which is more deeper than he can imagine.
In the end I want to add that in my oppinion Faiths behavior was not very surprising for me, even if I think that she wasn't right to treat Xander like this. She hurt him. And I think she knew this exactly.
