Wow, Allycat, we actually agree on something. Color me surprised. 😀

I like Xander and Cordy, but they didn't have the stuff a lasting relationship is made of. I haven't watched Angel for very long so I can't comment on that much. I did like Anya and Xander, but I also like the idea of Xander and Buffy.

I do too! ... Not just yet, but when the whole thing is over. When Buffy is just a gramps just like any other woman of her age. I can see her sitting on a lazy chair on the veranda with Xander (as an old man) next to her. Just holding, maybe even cuddling, and they'll be visited by the children of Connor and Dawn every sunday. They'll go to bed late every evening just to be able to watch the stars, knowing that it's an everlasting battle, but that they're not the warriors anymore. Philosophying life, thinking about why there's an on-going battle between good and bad, which will never end! But than finally falling in love in each others arms, knowing that it's okay ... to both have a heartattack and never wake up again, in the light of the stars ... dying!
 
Cordy is cool I don't like her as much as I did in Buffy but she has grown alot and that's good hey if she'd stayed in buffy she wouldn't have gotten visions and that wouldn't have been cool.
 
Cordy's not one of my favorite characters. To me she just seems really cruel and heartless. She has had her moments, but I think that mostly she just needs to grow up. She still thinks the entire universe revolves around her. (IMHO)
 
I loved Cordelia all through Buffy. She had no tact, and I loved that. The first season of Angel (and some of the second season) were great, but then they killed her great hair and made her too nice. lol Bring back the "bitch".🙂
 
I guess that if I have to admit it then, I would say that I liked Cordy on Buffy better than Angel because atleast then,
she didn't think she was in love w/ Angel and sleep with his son!

I love her. I loved Sunnydale Cordy but even more LA Cordy!!!
She is one of the best characters!

Doesn't mean you can't hate the character ... I hate the S4/5 Riley, though he is essential to the Buffyverse!
 
Cordy had so much spunk and "snobby-funny" vibes given off to the rest of the Scoobies on "Buffy."

But I definetly don't find her annoying. Everyone matures, Cordy just happend to mature faster than others, considering she became a co-star on "Angel".

I disagree with you there. She was never heartless, on Buffy she was just as essential, witty, and BITCHY as any other teenager in a preppy environment.

And I think she has grown up a long time ago. Cordelia's character has evolved so much during the course of the past few years. She has matured, grown feelings and concerns for other characters. Don't forget her mother-ly moments with baby Conner, and her stepping in as the leader of the group when Angel wasn't around.

I think she is such an unbelievable strong character. Doyle saw something in her, and I doubt it was her looks and bitchiness that turned him on. He really saw hope and light in her, otherwise I doubt Doyle would ever have given his powers over to her. Besides, after all that pain of the visions, Cordy has survived and remained strong.

Sure, she might have been a bitch most of the time on "Buffy", but come on, not everyone can be all smart or strong for that matter. I think Cordelia Chase was a perfect opposite for Buffy, in regards to strength and how well she can handel vampires.
She was a GREAT opposite of Willow, and in terms of her and Xander, well it made it all worth while.
She was heartless maybe in the second episode of Buffy, when she went off screaming that Buffy was some sort of freak (or was it the first episode)? but come on, who didn't find that funny.
By Prophecy Girl, Cordelia had evolved a little and became part of the group.

I'm telling you, if you look at her now on 'Angel', no one would have ever dreamed of her becoming the way she is now (excluding Evil Cordy). And I think Cordelia has shown a great deal of respect for Buffy on many occasions. So I definetly don't think she's cruel.

I agree with you, Cordy these days is too serious, and maybe Cordy has lost her charm. But come on, this isn't highschool. "Angel" is a mature show.
 
I've always liked Cordy, in all her styles. The only thing I was ever disappointed about was that she and Doyle never made it.
