Do u think oz should come back and if he does should he and willow get back together i mean i know she still luvs Tara and that will take time but she probly still luvs Oz 2 right? i mean he was her first after all.😕

I mean it could work because u always luv and remember ur first or at least that is what i heard so if the luv each other they should be able to work that out. but it would be awhile before this happened because Willow will need to get over Tara's death.

Well, if you seen that episode in the 4th Season when Oz came back, it sort of settled the tensions between the two. So, it's almost impossible that he would come back now.

Even if he didn't get back with willow if hes came back I still hope that he does cause he was a brillant charcter in the programme, don't you think??

its weird for him to come back....plus its overdone...he came back once already so theres really no point to bring him back at all unless they have some new cool thing to do with him....

The dilemma that is Oz

I love Oz. I love Oz and Willow. I was watching New Moon Rising, and even in that last scene the chemistry between AH and SG is phenomenal. I would very very much like to see Oz return. But I'm not sure it makes sense. (But I so want it to!!!)

The first obstacle is that two years is a long time. I think it's a myth that you always love your first. If you haven't been around someone in a while you're gonna have different feelings for them. This is truer in relationships than it is in friendships. Willow has changed a heck of a lot these past two years, so I really think that it's disingenuous to put Willow and Oz into a romantic relationship, not to mention the fact that Willow just suffered a horrific loss and probably isn't capable of being in another relationship right now.

I also think that it's only fair that Oz has moved on with his life. After all, if Willow was truly happy with Tara, doesn't Oz deserve happiness too? I think that Oz and Willow will always have a fondness for each other, but I think (or hope) that Oz hasn't just been pining for Willow. My favorite books growing up were Anne of Green Gables (don't flog me! 😛 ) where the love interest is in love with and waits for Anne for 14 years. Nice story, very sweet, one of my favorite romances. But not realistic, and it doesn't work for every relationship. It just doesn't sit right with me that Oz has been pining for her all this time. Thinks about her occasionally, yes, would worry about her if he knew what had happened, absolutely. But I think his feelings for her have changed from what they were.

So I don't think Oz would come running back to Sunnydale when he got word. He might call Buffy, see if there's anything he could do, but I have a hard time imagining how his coming to Sunnydale would be helpful to Willow right now. But, I love him and want him to return, so what *I* think should happen is later this season there is another reason that Oz needs to return, like he has to go back to where he caught Lycanthropy for some reason. Or better yet, have some kind of werewolf epidemic in Sunnydale and Oz returns to help the gang. In short, his return should not be about Willow or Willow and Oz's relationship, BUT there should be a touching scene between the two where they talk about where he's been and what she's been through and their lifetime friendship is firmly reaffirmed.

The problem that remains is that Oz would leave again, which is always sad. But I just don't see Oz staying in Sunnydale after all this time. But the upshot is he would leave on a happy note, with he and Willow in a good place where they respect each other and it's implied that they'll stay in contact even though he's not on the show.

There's a thread floating around here somewhere that has an article that say both Joss and Seth agree that if it makes sense to bring Oz back, they would do it. I'm hopeful, but not overly so, because like I said, I don't know if it makes sense right now. But there's my take on one way it could happen"¦but then, Joss didn't ask for my opinion. 😛

I think that Oz should come back. He was Will's first love, even though she has turned gay now, and he was one of the most coolest BTVS guys ever!

Sweet Mother of All That is Holy, YES!

I hate when people write something so good, and I can't a think of a thing to add to 'em.😛 And Joss should ask for our opinions!

I so hope he doesnt come back, i dont think the shows missed him but while i write this i think it would be a good time to come back if he did, but he hasnt got any hair left hows he gonna explain that?

FiveByFive you totally made my day!! 🙂 I'm glad you liked my idea.

And Hair? Why does he need Hair? It TOTALLY fits Oz that he might shave his head...maybe it's symbolic to help him control the wolf. Really not seeing the problem. 🙂

I kinda think Willow needs him though not in the Boyfriend sense but in the friend since because she could use every one in order to stay in good mental health so she doesn't go homisidal agian. Even though i don't think she will.

The problem with that is that Oz and Willow have a lot of unresolved issues, so I don't think Oz is really in a position to be a huge support for her right now. Not that I don't want it, I do, but I see problems.

If you think about it, one of the first times Willow thought about using magic for vengence was with on Oz after she found him with Verruca. Oz is gonna be a painful thing for her, not sweet, support guy like he was. Sad, very sad, but true.

It just occurred to me though, that while he can't come back to be save-the-day guy, it's certainly feasible that Willow decides that part of the healing process she needs to go through is facing Oz again, and dealing with what happened. They had one night together that they spent talking since he left. Were we supposed to assume that they completely cleared the air then? I didn't think so. So, they have things to work out, and Willow might need them to be worked out to heal from what happened. I dunno, though. It's a tough call.

Don't take this as me shooting you down. I have actually spent a lot of time thinking about this, and enjoy discussing it..batting ideas around....it would make for one terrific story. (but then, I'm as a big as an Oz obsessor as the rest of 'em!)

He can come back, but Willow won't go with him again! Willow is lesbian and nothin is gonna change that. Besides Seth is way too busy with Movies!

This whole "Willow is gay" thing. Does that mean she was never in love with Oz in the first place? I mean, I don't understand. She loved him, that relationship wasn't a lie. Even in their last scene it was obvious they loved each other. So she's proven she can love men, hasn't she?

Yes, but people change ... I would never go with my ex-girlfriend again if she asked, and I did love her and I still like her ... so I guess we just grew appart, that obviously happened to Willow and Oz
