Do vampires sometimes rape their victims? I mean the Buffy and Spike thing doesn't really count but what about Angelues and Darla raping Holt's wife? I thought vampires were only driven by the need to feed, eg blood but do you think this is common behaviour for them?

I suppose it depends on the vampire just like humans some will have sick perversions and some wont.

As above. Angelus was very much about sadism and the power that comes from it. Rape is the ultimate form of those things. I suppose vampires may have more of a chance of being rapists without a conscience.

Angel was definitely into torturing and degrading his victims before he finally killed them, and I'm sure that he wasn't the only vampire who would have done it.

It's probably what a soulless predator who looks more or less identical to his favorite prey, but is vastly more physically powerful than them, would consider fun. While they don't have a need towards it, it seems an almost natural outgrowth of their personality, so I think yes, quite a lot of vampires will rape their victims from time to time. Angelus probably did so regularly.
