After a rewatch of season 2, I thought it would be a fun idea to jot down a grade for each episode based off a scale of 0-100 obviously with 100 being the highest possible. I rated each one on the episode's plot and characterization, along with how it fits in with the rest of the season. I really want to know if you guys agree or disagree. Thanks!

I'd probably rate The Dark Age higher, What's My Line lower, Ted higher, Bad Eggs lower, Surprise and Innocence a bit lower, Killed By Death just a bit higher, Go Fish a little higher, and Becoming lower.
 
Are you sure the overall should be A+? I see alot of C's there, unless u arent averaging the scores.
as for me, Halloween would get A+ from me, and Dark Age, a B
 
Id have dark age(80) bad eggs(80) and phases(85) but i don't think bewitched bothered and bewildered is worth 100. Also i only have eyes for you i give 65 its one of the most overrated episodes ever.

fair enough, i can see where you're coming from, i thinks its the change of pace with the angelus and buffy situation that gets viewers into it. PLus Spike is back on his feet at the end. I really hope i'm talking about the right ep haha
how is it overrated? im not contesting your view, i just want to know y you think so.

I dont think its badly written or anything, I just didn't really get into it, found it kinda boring. Its usually one i skip and i dont skip many. But i noticed its a very popular episode, so i might watch it later and see if i like it any better.
I'd rate:

IMG higher (but that's just my silly love for that ep speaking, I guess; I know most seem to hate it 😉 )
Reptile Boy much lower, around 60 (stinker of the season IMO, I care for the ep even less than for Some Ass. Req.)
Dark Age higher (solid 80 for me)
Ted a bit lower
Bad Eggs a bit higher

All in all, it's a pretty good evaluation of the season... and I'd give it a 95 overall, it's the best season IMO - the excellent arc and general atmosphere gives bonus points above the arithmetic average. 😉
 
I'm on a rewatch of Season 2 now, and have watched "Whats My Line" the last couple of days. And I must say that while the two episodes are far from perfect, I nonetheless love them. The tenderness between Buffy and Angel, and Dru carrying Spike out, the look on the Scoobies' faces when Buffy gets to Angel in the church ... Yeah, for me, these two episodes are high up among my all-time favourites.

Well, this season contains one of my least favorite episodes - Inca Mummy Girl, so despite how fabulous this season is, due to that, I can't give it an A.
Yet, School Hard, Halloween, Passion, Innocence and Surprise are a few of the shows best, so...how about a A-?

A few episodes here and there that i would rate higher or lower, but after all it is your opinion. Still i think you have done a very good job in those ratings 🙂
