Well, for me, apart from my collection of Buffy/Angel stuff, I've got a fairly good collection of vinyl records and books. I've also got a good-sized assortment of movies/TV shows (DVDs/VHS) that I've collected over my short amount of time on this planet. 😛

Vinyl I can get even if it feels a bit odd for someone your age but VHS? Distance aside you should have had mine before I threw them away.

I love vinyl records! I have a pretty decent vinyl collection myself.
I have a nice little collection of Iron Maiden CDs, DVDs, LPs and posters. I have now about 40 of their CDs/LPs, but there are still lots of Maiden records I want to buy. I always buy my favorite albums as vinyl records as well. But the one I'm after for years now, Brave New World, costs a few hundred bucks as vinyl record nowadays.

I used to have a lot of posters, but a friend of my mom (a pasychiatrist) kept telling me that it was childish of me. It kinda struck a nerve and I took most of them down during the past year. (Except Pretty Little Liars and Supernatural, but the SPN one kinda fell of and was torn in half 🙁)

I started collecting buttons/pins when I was in L.A. I still have a fairly new and small collection, but I have buttons from the Hard Rock Café in Universal City, some from the Simple Plan concert in February and a few from the Star Wars: Identities exposition at the Science Center. Oh, and one from the Breaking Dawn camping Premiere *roll eyes*

I've always been interested in the events surrounding the life of the American western hero, Jim Bowie, and the events leading to his death at the siege of the Alamo. I've collected a fairly large library of books about the subject, as well as a large collection of Bowie knives.

Also, I've been a fan of the writer, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Have everything that I can find written by him, in particular his complete John Carter, Tarzan, and Pelucidar series.

And movies, movies of every type, dating back from some of the old silent classics up to movies in the present.

I most certainly do. Other then Buffy stuff I collect all sorts of figures And stuff, I have an 18 inch Alien, Predator and Terminator Endoskeleton,And i have a Lord of The rings Animaquette Ringwraith statue on a horse. I also am a gamer and own game character figures such as Isaac from Dead space, Anya from Gears of war, a Halo solider and Adam Jenson from deus ex: human revolution. And neo and trinity busts from The matrix.Oh and a special edition call of duty M.O.D 3 3D plastic poster.

I also collect posters, CD'S , DVD'S books, and The x Files stuff, I own a load of T-shirts of my fave bands too. whoa I collect loads.

Oh, yes, t-shirts. I have a bunch of shirts of my favorite bands and movies. I think I have more than 10 Iron Maiden shirts.
And of course I have movies, but I wouldn't call it collect, really. I just buy the movies I like.

Well, I don't know if I actively collect things, but I have a large comic book collection. I don't buy the single issue copies, just the hard and soft-cover books that collect an entire story into one binding. I didn't really set out to "collect" them, but I read a lot of comics so over time they really started to accumulate. Then I got into organizing them and buying a nice bookshelf to house them and then before you knew it, there a collection was 🙂

That's neat, I've always wanted a big comic book collection!
Regarding my DVDs, I actually finally managed to track down the last two seasons of Charmed that I needed, so now I have the complete set! 😀

I have a slight obsession with anything that has a cute owl on it or shaped like it. I also collect pandora charms for my bracelet and have an extensive collection of various badges and brooches that I've put on a bag.

I love owls!! i have a mini ornament made out of volcano coal
My other half and I each suffer from a DVD collection addiction, and both working at Walmart it feeds our habit. At last count we have over 220... it's gotten insanely out of hand over the years (those darn $3 sales!) 😉

I also like to collect tea (loose leaf and bagged), houseplants and kitchen utensils.

I collect quite alot of stuff. I have a fairly large Blu-Ray/DVD collection. I also love music, so I have a sizable collection of CDs and vinyl records. Of course, I have a pretty good size Madonna collection (CDs, vinyl, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and a few books.) I am also quite proud of my Buffy collection (DVDs, CDs, books, and a Sunnydale High School t-shirt.) I do have books and CDs for the shows Supernatural, Smallville, and Friends. And since it's my favorite movie, I have a good size Beauty And The Beast collection. I have Blu-Rays, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, books, collectibles, a limited edition figurine, vintage Sega Genesis games for the movie, and my pride and joy which is an autographed photo signed by Robby Benson and Paige O'Hara who did the voices for Belle and The Beast. So yes, I collect alot of stuff, but I love it. 😀

I collect TV series that I enjoy to watch. I believe I have the complete series' of House MD, X-Files, Smallville, Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A lot of my other series' I have all the seasons up until now. I also have a fairly big Fantastic Four comic book collection. I also collect a couple of the new 52 DC comics as well, but I really enjoy Fantastic Four. I also collect autographed baseballs. I only have 9, but I think that is quite a few; Bob Feller, Nolan Ryan, Sandy Koufax, David Murphy, Elvis Andrus, Scott Feldman, Nelson Cruz, Mitch Moreland and Robbie Ross. :] That is about all I have.

I collect quite a bit of memorabilia from movies and older T.V shows. Books,DVD's, harder to come by Photos etc. Pretty much anything that's from the show that i would like in a collection lol.

My Dad has a load of old Vinyl's still, we keep them wrapped up and will probably end up being sold in the future, hopefully for a good return lol.

I have a collectors mind but can never decide what to focus on so mostly it comes down to bits and pieces of lots of stuff.

The cd collection is way smaller than it has been but compared to a "real" collector it wasn't something to brag about anyway. Much bigger than my friends though.

I do buy dvd's when I can afford it and I like to get special/limited editions but I got a limit and I never go out of my way to get what I want. If I had money to spend on the other hand... If you count sports, comedy/stand up and music dvds I have over 330 and over 95 season box sets from tv series. I see the box sets more as a collection. I want all seasons and not just random ones.

Worth mentioing might be the trading cards. I got mostly ishockey ones but I could easily get rid of most of them if I just had someone to buy them. The biggest collection is of Sergei Fedorov with 300 + cards.

I also have a Whedonverse card selection which I gathered during 12 months or so when I thought it was wise to spend money on that. All in all over 2000 cards.

Base sets:
Angel s. 1
Angel s. 2

I also have a growing collection of retro game consoles (Dreamcast, PS1, N64, Super Nintendo, Nintendo. My Sega Genesis is coming in the mail). Band T shirts are also my thing, although I will never buy a Nirvana or a Rolling Stones T shirt. They're two of my favorite bands, but so many posers are wearing them. Loses the specialness. 😉

I totally forgot about my own retro consoles! 😱 In all, I've got a PS1, N64, Genesis (Two. Original model and the second one), and my beloved Gamecube. 😀

My N64 is the only retro console I have, but it's all I need. Best console EVER!!! 🙂

I collect gig tickets in a scrapbook and when I eventually have my own place where there's room I'm going to collect teapots and vinyl.

I don't collect anything. I want to...If I could afford to collect random Buffy/Angel stuff I totally would. My Buffy obsession knows no boundaries.
However, my husband used to collect Nascar like you wouldn't believe. When we were like 10 years ago, he still lived with his mom and dad, and his room, was covered from floor to ceiling in those little collectible toy nascar cars. He would tack them up side by side so pretty much every square inch of wall was covered. Then he had a showcase filled with big cars and he had posters and autographs and tires and you name it.
He probably has thousands of dollars worth of it.
But now we are parents and can't afford it collect anything except bills 🙂

I LOVE collecting DVDs, especially horror films so I'm always on the look out for great deals and bargain bins. I have quite a bit already but still need a ton more!!!
