Do you cry at movies?

I just saw Finding Neverland at the cinema and this time I actually cryed. My eyes got all watery. Normaly I don't cry, just at tv-show finals and maybe titanic. heh.
So my question: Do you cry when you see a sad movie? Some people do, some people don't. My friend Hanna even cryed at lord of the rings. ::crying2: 🙂

I don't cry at movies because I don't feel that 2(ish) hours is enough time to get invested in the characters. I've cried on Buffy before ("Mom....mom....mommy?") because I felt sorry for these characters I had known for so many years.

Then again, I've heard Finding Neverland is a weeper.

I've never cried at the movies, but then again I only usually go to watch action movies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars (can't wait 😛). I have Sky so I figure unless it's a film I'm desperate to see I may as well wait 18 months to see it for sort of free.

At home I cry loads though. The Snowman makes me cry so much!

She's not the only one, I know quite a few people who did, including myself. I spent a large part of Return Of The King in tears.

Another bad one for getting me in tears is 'A Walk To Remember'. Just ask Elmo she got to witness it.

AAALLL the time. I'm a crier. If the movie I'm going to isn't specifically a comedy that I know will have a happy ending, I take a handkerchief. I cried at Harry Potter and the PoA, when Sirius was leaving for god's sake and I knew it was coming! I cried at Lord of the Rings (yeah, all three of them), I cried at Hitch, I cry at docmentaries, man! Braveheart (one of my faves) I cried...for pretty much the last twenty minutes. Yeah, Finding Neverland the same thing. In fact, the only movie with a sad ending that I didn't cry at was Titanic. I cried during the whole paart where the ship was sinking and like, the old people were holding each other and the Irish mom was telling her kids the story about Niamh and Oisin, but she leaves out the sad ending! AGH! That made me cry...but by the time Jack died, I had stopped crying and watching him float on down made me laugh for some reason....Maybe I'm just twisted....

I'm with Anchovy.. I always cry. Well, when watching Buffy I cry like every time.. but a lot with movies as well. I definitely cry every time I watch the LOTR movies (Pippin's song, aw).. I almost always find something I relate to in some, and I start crying. Then there are movies that make me cry for two hours.. and continue crying for hours.. Like "Lilja 4-ever", that movie makes me depressed for days...
I usually never cry, about stuff in my own life.. only when seeing movies or TV shows.

I tend to cry.. depends on the storyline.. I cried at Romeo and Juliet.. and LION KING.. that is the worst one for me..

i don't cry at movies, well, maybe i have done once or twice.. max 10 times! (my mom cries from everything, tv movies, tv shows and so on... )

though i do sometimes cry at Tv show(or from) especialy the epps 4 and 5 from season 2 of 8 simple rules when paul dies in the show, i.e John ritter died for real and they had a double memorial ep for him, IT WAS SO sad!! Later in the season they also give him thoughts for being gone and i get moved everytime...

i think i really have to be thoughed by the situation to get REALLY sad about it.. like when i saw raising helen, with kate hudson, i got realy sad when helens sister dies(you who have seen it knows what i'm talking about), but i don't think i cried....

Whats the stroy? I've cryed at moives. Auclly it pretty new before when 'A Walk To Remember' Came out I didn't cry. I mean it was sad. But then I rewatched it and cryed so much. I cryed durring Finding Neverland. Really any sad moive. I Tend to watch acatin moives more not a whole bunch of crying. Tv Shows now I cry, yell, screem, laugh, name it I prob. do it.

I was well gone by that point, when Frodo gets on the boat and looks up and smiles. Another part that got me when I was watching the extended edition on dvd was where Eomer finds Eowyn on the battle field and thinks she is dead. The howl that he gives out really got to me. Same with Pippin's song, and when Aragorn and Arwen are reunited. Like I said I spent a lot of that movie in tears.

I cry at movies. A lot. I very easily get emotionally involved in movies and tv shows. I used to be kinda ashamed about it, cause I'm not really comfortable with crying, (except when I'm acting, then there's no problem..). I actually think it was Buffy helping me with accepting the crying, 'cause I have never been so emotionally involved in a tv show or movie like I am with Buffy, so I do a lot of crying watching it and I just said to myself: "Hey you, it's okey to cry" and it got a little easier accepting.

God, you make me cry reading this, heh.. Um yea not really but I'm listening to the music from LOTR at the moment, so... (Yes I am obsessed.) Those movies just make me feel so much. I've got a friend, who is a huge fan but.. Every time Pippin starts singing, she starts laughing.. I don't know what's wrong with her, heh.. I love that scene so much but she keeps ruining it for me.

Well aren't you a bunch of cry-buffies. Ok I should play nice, but me I never cry. Crying is showing emotions in an uncontrolled way which I don't like. Sometimes if it's really sad I might cry, but only if I'm alone. I never cry infront of people, unless I get hit in the face by a ball.

If the story is really emotional, or I can really relate to it, I definitely cry. I'm not afraid to admit it!

I cried in Titanic, A Walk to Remember, a couple Buffy Episodes. I bawled during the Passion of the Christ. I can't watch that movie ever again, because I know that I"ll lose it. I don't think I've ever cried so hard at a movie before.

Normally I do not cry at movies/Tv, etc. I'm a pretty stable person who just enjoys the storyline and doesn't get affected very much.

But given my current state, I am somewhat more emotional. There are a couple of commercials that will get me started.

I remember a couple years ago, I was pregnant and saw a commercial with an iron that was crying because he wasn't going to be used... and I started bawling. I think it all obviously deals with external/internal circumstances.

The only two that I can recall of me welling up are from watching the movies: A Walk To Remember and The Cure. For the first one I was so teary that I _wanted_ to cry! But it never actually got the tears flowing. The second one though, it's foggy, but I think I did cry. There's a part where someone's crying and I think it was too sad to not join in!

I'll cry at anything. Especially A Walk to Remember. That movie was such a shock to me. And i spent the last half hour of Troy in tears. so much so that when i watched it again i realised i missed some bits.

I just saw Finding Neverland at the cinema and this time I actually cryed.

OMG, that's just.. That's sooo normal crying before Finding Neverland! I mean, how can you not cry when seeing this movie? That's just soooo sad & beautiful at the same time! I had my dad shed a tear when seeing it, which is really incredible...
I saw this movie 5 times & cried 4 times out of the five. The first time, I started crying when the movie was only half way through, till the end... but I have an excuse it was really really late & tiredness helps the crying.
The one time I didn't cry it was cause my "dear" friend had her cell phone ringing like every 10 minutes in the end (she didn't want to shut it down)... grrr

& I cry way too often before movies, I hate it & usually hide, & that's also why I prefer watch movies when I'm alone, lol... I can't help it 🙁

Also, a movie that can make people cry... it's a clue about the quality of the movie I think... as well as the movie that makes laugh, only laughter seems easier.

I have to watch this movie you are all talking about (A Walk to Remember) you all made me want to see it.
