Do you date other Buffy fans?

i think thats really sad if you base your personal life on a tv show that ended like 4 years ago...i like buffy but i wouldnt dump someone just cause they dont watch it or if they werent a "die-hard" fan

Yup Buffy is an interest just like basketball or skiing...so it makes sense to hang/date people with the same interest. I could totally see why people may not date others who didn't like Buffy.

Speaking from experience, ex-husband wasn't a fan. So it ended up becoming a fight, I'd want to watch a new eppy and all hell would break loose.

I wish I had said "NOPE" to him...well it's ok because my hubby now is a fan like I.

So I DO have some experience in this department.

Also - noone said they had to be die-hard fans. Epo just stated that she turned down a guy who said BtVS sucked..heck I would have too!

As for the first part...heck is some guy I thought I may like to date said "Buffy the Vampire Slayer sooo sucks..it's the stupidest thing ever" - well there would be no point in continuing the relationship. He'd come over to my place and see all my Buffy stuff...all the DVD box sets, the books and beautiful Watcher's Guides, the Milton Bradley Board game, my Bobbleheads and collectors' plates...and think I was the biggest loser ever. 😀

So what's the point? My hubby the fan allows me to be as silly and in love with the Verse as I want to be! Heck he even feeds my need for Ebay Buffy Memorabilia (I love him!!!) 😀

my boyfriend really isn't all that into bufffy he watches it when i do and he dont really complain to much but i have tons of friends who love it so they make up for him not really being to big on buffy and angel its easier to date him now that the new episodes of Bufffy have ended and same with angel cause we'd be having some mager arguements about who got the t.v that night and 10 bucks down says i'd win lol.

Nope..never...but my current friend likes Willow and knows more or less what's going on in BtVS...if I get a chance will just sit down with him and explain all 7 seasons to him.

As long as we've a lot in common whetehr my guy likes or dislikes Buffy doesn't matter..but if he hates it..he better keep his mouth shut bout it near me

Well, my old boyfriend was a HUGE Buffy fan, but I kind of converted him when we were going out!! But, anyway, since him, I've dated around a little, but none of them have really been Buffy fans... Oh well, better luck next time I guess!!
