That's because the graph you posted is garbage. The data from the source the author supposedly used doesn't match that on the graph. According to the graph Buffy #1 sold ~160 000 copies but according to the actual data the author references ( http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/10404.html ) it sold only 109,919, like on my graph.

Yeah seems to be off in his month by month break down, dont know if there was an updated one later or something to get to the 160,000, since the guy doesn't link the actual page he got the info from.
Although thats why I was asking for your source I had been looking for a credible source with figures, but had seen a number of different figures, ICV2 seem to be the closest.
They only account for Sales through Diamond North America, so 110,000 is the minimum number of issues sold, the say at the bottom of the page that they don't account for sales from other distributors or for any international sales, but sales from Diamond UK could add an additional 3 - 20%

That's because your probably a comic book reader in general, whereas I am not. So remembering to buy 4 comics a month that are released on different days, when I have work, children, volunteer work and university to work around. So yes it may be 'simple' but it's definitely not as simple as watching tv episodes.

Actually it's even easier than this. Buffy, since S8 and through S9 has come out every 2nd Wednesday of the month for the last... 6 years. I don't know about AtF, but Angel & Faith comes out every last Wednesday of the month I think. I get that people don't want to go out of there way to get the comics, but you really don't have to. Yea it gets confusing when you add in all the tie-ins, one-shots, spin-offs, and non-canonical stuff, but the basic Seasons aren't near as hard to get into as everyone thinks.

I was a Buffy fan years before I was a comic fan. Don't make the assumption that I'm a comic geek just because I'm a big fan of the comics. I'm am a comic geek now, because of Buffy.

Actually it's even easier than this. Buffy, since S8 and through S9 has come out every 2nd Wednesday of the month for the last... 6 years. Well I guess I'll stop arguing now... I mean, if you live in a big city, there's probably a comic store within 25 miles, and you can always get subscription services. But whatever, evidently my arguing is doing no good. I mean, I still whole-heartedly disagree with you. Finding each of the 4 canonical continuations is just as easy as finding a fast food restaurant to eat lunch at. But like I said, I'm done arguing, evidently I'm wrong.
