Do you drive and love it? I dont have a car but love the feeling of driving. Do you think it's lame for an adult not to have a car? Whats your attitude to driving.

I wouldn't say I love it, but I do drive. I have a 20 minute drive to work when I go, and I usually make that drive to visit my mom with the kids if my husband is going to be gone. I don't think it's lame at all for someone not to have a car - if I didn't require one, I wouldn't have one either!

I have no own car in fact I just get my driving license a few months ago! I love driving when the weather is good. If not I don't really like driving don't ask me why? I think for an adult it's surely a pro if he has a car, he's mobile and can do more by him/herself! But it's not necessary for an adult to own a car.

I don't think it's lame not to have a car... If it wasn't for the public transportation problems we get in my area and the fact that it takes me an hour to get somewhere that takes a 10-min drive, I wouldn't even be taking my driving lessons.

Sure I'd like a car *insert picture of my dreamy blue Mitsubishi lancer here*, but it's not necessary to my life. And probably won't get any before I finish university either, which will be in about 4 years. My life's not that bad without it.

As for loving to drive well, I'm learning to drive right now so I do like it, but I get real scared real fast whenever there's an obstacle around XD

No. I can't afford it and I don't really need one for my lifestyle at the moment. I want to learn one day but I don't think I'd be allowed as I have poor vision in one of my eyes.

I'd love to get a vespa or small motorbike of some sort though at some point, cheaper than a car.

Here, at least, you only need good vision on one eye to drive.
I have a driving license and I can drive, but I rarely do. First reason is that I don't own a car, second one is that I don't need it. In the city where I live now I don't need it to move around. I use my parent's one when I go back to my hometown though.

My dream is to live in a huge city where I won't need a car, where I can just go round with public transportation/taxi.

I have a car and a motorcycle and I love both. I drive all the time. I love driving. If I go out with friends, 99% of the time, I'm the one driving. Just love it.

Ooh a name change :)
I drive, and have a car. I quite like driving but I get stressed out very easily when I'm driving.

My pet peeve as a driver is when I'm doing exactly the speed limit and I get someone behind me who is right up close to the back of my car, and you can just tell they are itching to go around me to go faster than the limit. Bugs me so much, but I do laugh when someone does this and then overtakes me, then has to promptly pull up short at traffic lights or a zebra crossing. 😀

...or a zebra crossing. Your. Life. Is. Awesome.
I do drive, i've been driving since i was 18 and i'm now nearly 24, and for the most part I love it, though i dont like those around me driving all the time. I think that most people are too busy with other things to concentrate on their driving when thats the ONLY thing they should concentrate on. I think to be able to drive feels free, like you can go anywhere type of thing, well not with the gas prices like they are but it still FEELS like you can lol.

I have a car and drive everyday. It's not that cool... Maybe for your first couple months but after a while it gets just as tedious as everything else. Especially in LA where there is just so much traffic and gas is crazy expensive.

I've never driven and probably never will. I don't feel i'm missing out because i've never done it. I have epilepsy and require to be free from fits for a certain time period before I qualify.

I live in the city though so I don't need a car, plus I get a free bus pass to use throughout Scotland 🙂

That's my problem too!
I've been driving since I was 16. I don't always love it, but there are times when I am alone with my kids that it makes me feel good.

I have a driver license and I like to drive, but I don't own a car (yet).
When I drive, I drive with my brother's car or my dad's.

I don't drive. I don't even have a provisional license yet. I really wish I did drive though because I live in a village, and the bus service isn't great. If I finish college at 2.00pm I have to wait right unitl 3:50 for the next bus. Then the last bus is at 5.25pm so I have to leave college a little early one day a week to make it on time 😡

Am I suffering from deja vu, or has another thread like this been made recently? 😕

I've got a car and my license but avoid driving if possible. I was in an accident a few years ago and it's made me really paranoid about driving. I voted yes because I do drive anyways, but I don't love it haha.

I've been driving for 6 years and love it. There's nowhere better to be than in my car driving somewhere with my music on. I'd be lost without it and I love the independence.
