I don't drive, but I really need to start learning to. If only to play designated driver since I don't really drink so it would be perfect for nights out 😛 I don't think an adult needs to drive though. Some people can't afford it or just don't fancy it. Some people don't really need to. Although I want to, I don't really need to at the moment. I get the bus into town everyday even though my friend can drive because she doesn't like driving in town, and I imagine I'd be the same. So apart from the odd occasion I don't really need to. It's probably cheaper than paying for patrol anyway!

Yeah ive been driving since i was 18, I am quite into cars and i used to LOOOOOVE driving. Ive had some pretty cool cars, a few classic minis - one with a turbo (so cool), darn i miss those mini's! and last year i had to sell my pride and joy - my toyota starlet turbo import 🙁 i cried when i sold that and my beautiful purple mini clubman (classic mini of course), i sold it to buy a sensible grown up boring car! growing up sucks!

I drive. It's a great way to take you from point A to point B. Albeit quite expensive these days.
Still beats public transportation in most cases though.

But I'm not the one to take a drive just for fun. That's something I've never seen the joy in.

I voted yes because I own a car and used to... but at the moment I do no have a license. So right now I don't drive but when I get that bad boy back I'm back on the road baby! 🙂

I don't drive because I have a whole bundle of fun eye disorders which render as blind as a bat and I am medically (and thus legally) not allowed to. I have never driven as I don't want to know what I am missing.

I live in Los Angeles, CA...so hell no. Gas is expensive as sh-guff, traffic is disgusting, and I feel the urge to mow people down whenever I do. I can drive, but I just hate it. I mean, I love it...but it's annoying.

I like driving in the Nevada desert.

Well, I would like to. It's not like I have a license or anything. But I can drive when an adult is present 😀. Ugh. I don't want to take the test. I mean, I need to practice.

Yeah. I just need to move to NY already.

Oh, i hear ya! Driving in London is horrible too!!! fuel prices in the UK are a JOKE too! :)
Yes, I do drive. I love the freedom having a car gives. I have no limitations to where I could go. I do sometimes get tired of driving though especially living in L.A traffic can be bananas! I don't think its lame if someone doesn't have a car.

I sold my Gallantmon, so now I borrow my step-dad's car when I need to. I'm always pumping some kick-ass tunes when I'm driving 😀

I drive and I hate it. My person doesn't, so I've been doing the driving for two people for over four years. Add in Gramma not being able to do any for herself, so now I take on her errands too. I spend a good amount of time in my car. It's a good thing it's pretty and comfortable. I actually just cleaned it out. It gets pretty trashed cause I practically live in it... Took me 2 1/2 hours to properly clean it.

But if I could get away with not driving, I would. And I don't find it lame if someone doesn't have a car or their license. Not everyone needs it. I guess, in Europe, things are closer than they are here. For instance, it's a 15 minute drive for me to the grocery store. There's no bus that goes there. My friend came from England to visit me and commented on how far apart everything seems to be, and how much time we spend driving here.

Fredikins my twin lives in LA, but he works in Santa Monica. He's a production assistant. He spends most of his time at work either waiting for someone to tell him to go get something, or driving to get it. He calls me a lot when he's stuck in traffic on the 405. But when I was there I successfully navigated the 405 during rush hour and I barely got mad. 😉 I was proud.

405 during rush hour...ugh. Haha I haven't tackled that task yet, but I think I'd be fine if I didn't have to be somewhere at a certain time and if I was listening to Dreamboat Annie at max volume.

your banner is gorgeous!
I drive, I've been driving for about 9 years and I own a VW Polo. I dont like driving, I do it because I have to. I dont go out for a drive just for the sake of it, I drive to work and back and that's about it. Its getting too expensive to run a car at the minute with the price of petrol and insurance!!

I'll let Riley speak for me this time... ''You can have the best time in a car. It's not about getting somewhere. You have to take your time. Forget about everything. Just relax. Let it wash over you. The air, motion. Just let it roll.''

*queue in Riley's intense creepy face*

He looks constipated...but I like that quote haha
I'm 34, know how to drive, but never coughed up the money to get a driver's licence. I will, though, some time in the next few years. When kids start having hobbies it's pretty much necessary around here.

I don't drive, never had a lesson and to be honest I'm not to bothered about it either lol When I was a teen coming up to the age where I could drive, the thought never once popped into my head to go get a lesson, it just didn't interest me lol
I like walking everywhere and I don't mind getting the bus 🙂 Plus the people on the roads today are insane!! 😱 I'd probably be to scared to drive now anyway lol
The only time that I think about driving, is if I'd have the time and money to buy a VW Campervan and go travelling around the country 😀 That is the only reason I'd learn to drive now 🙂

Driving is hugely symbolic for me. It speaks to me of confidence.... I think in life there are drivers and there are passengers....I'm a passenger. I hope someday to be a driver.

Would you rather be a driver in your crap car, or a passenger in your limo?
I drive. I enjoy the freedom that having a car provides but driving a manual in traffic (which is a fact of life where I live) is annoying.

I don't think there is any shame in not driving or owning a car. There are plenty of other options for transportation and it's better for the environment.
