I'll let Riley speak for me this time... ''You can have the best time in a car. It's not about getting somewhere. You have to take your time. Forget about everything. Just relax. Let it wash over you. The air, motion. Just let it roll.''

*queue in Riley's intense creepy face*

Oh and yes I drive.

:biggrin2: For me, to quote Buffy in the same scene "I'm an avid pedestrian." 😀 No, I don't drive. I guess I just don't really have a big desire to. I think it's the chance of getting hit by other cars that frightens me a little bit.

I do not drive, have never learned HOW to drive, and unlike Faith up there, I feel I AM missing something. 😛

I've been driving since I was 16. My car broke on Christmas eve and we haven't repaired it yet. I drove my husband's car two days ago and found the whole experience to be traumatizing. I've never really liked driving and would rather just ride in the passenger seat. I found it especially frustrating since my massive pregnant belly was touching the steering wheel. So, I'm done with driving until after I'm the only one occupying my body...and I'll probably not drive much after that unless I have to. Driving is too scary to me now that I'm a few months out of practice!

Its getting difficult for people driving in the UK at the moment. There's been another threat of a petrol strike, so yesterday there was panic buying across most of the country. Unfortuenatly I always let my car get down to empty before I refill, so I needed to refill yesterday and because the only petrol station still open was the most expensive, I ended up paying 1.43 per litre!

I'd be lost without my car. There is no public transport close to me and I have trouble using public transport anyway due to severe anxiety. I do enjoy driving but I dont like going fast in traffic. Im fine going fast if there is not much traffic around though. Petrol is getting ridiculous, I havent filled up this week because is was $1.57 a litre at my local servo! I really dread the years to come as soon I will not be able to afford to have a car, but I also have no other option (I am terrified of motorbikes and mopeds so thats out too, especially with the drivers in this state, you're just asking to die). I hate the way the world is going.

I have two cars one for my husband one for me
To go to work and for shopping.
I have had the licence in 2003 i was 19 years old!!!!!
I remember this day i was very stressed....
And when i have driven alone for the first Time i
Didn't feel at ease.
The second day that was finished i wasn't stressed and have a real pleasure
To drive. Don't worry it's great to have Indépendance.

Does a car mean independence? I dont have a car but can get to where i want whenever i want????
