I waited so long for you guys to make this thread and got nothing. I have to do it myself. You guys are definitely not doing your job.

Connor's only a teenager, yes. But Cordy's barely an adult. The age difference is much smaller than those live/undead pairs, and maybe even smaller than Xander/Dawn. What's those haters' damn problems?😀 Many of them don't like Cangel anyway.🙄

I totally agree! there is nothing at all wrong with the relationship. I just figure I am the only one that likes Concord so I don't worry about it much. Even though @Lyri is working on a Concord theme though. Everyone (except one person) told me my concord banner was ugly too!
 
I do hate the ship name that's for sure.

But actually, y'know, if Cordelia hadn't been evil, it was probably a better idea than Cangel. No curse, picnics in daylight, going to the beach, Connor wouldn't have whined as much. There's quite a few up sides.
But we still have to cut out the 'special' pregnancy/manipulation stuff. That was yuck.

I hate the ship name too.. but the plane was cool!
I thought it was touching that Connor became a father.

I think Connor handled his nerves well around the time of the impending birth, what with him being haunted by the First an 'all.

But I though it was a shame he had to smash his maggot-faced massiah-daughter to death.
He did not handle the grief of losing his child well at all...kinda like Angel in that way I suppose. 😉

And unlike other people, he was accepting of her looks. Others wanted to kill her and end world peace just because she was unattractive.

Does this mean there are genuinely people who actually wanted it to work out? Like imagining Cordelia, Conner and Jasmine in a family portrait; Jasmine calling Angel grandpappy...
 
I feel like if they had made Connor seem older it would have been more widely accepted. I like the Connor-Cordelia pairing in theory in a Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade sort of father-son storyline. They just wrote Connor acting too young.
 
I agree with that. Once Greenwalt left they kinda ruined the character. VK even said as much.
 
For me it's always been less about the age and more that it wasn't Cordelia and Conner didn't know that.
I mean, she was a rogue power that possessed her mother so that she could deceive and have sex with her father in order to birth herself. Next to that, the age difference is hardly at the top of the ick-list for me.

Anyone see the sun come up today? That was cool.

I guess Conner was very protective of her.

At least until he tried to blow her up.
