if you are woken up by something, after only haveing slept a short time, or if you are forssed to answer the phone or the door when you wake up (in that fast way, one can do when someone wakes you with the phone sound.) do you get confused? (and if you want to... throw in some funny stories in this thread!! 😉 )

i do.. i get massily confused! first i'm just staring around in the air, then i start to ask silly quetions, with very little meaning, and then i start to wake up! LIke two days ago, my aunt called me(i went to bed at 4.30pm, she called at 8pm) so i rush to the phone, and i answer(i think i said some silly things to my boyf! cause the phone call kinda mixed into my crazy dream) well i talk to my aunt, and after like 3-4mins i aask her what time it is.. and she tells me its 8. and i start to panik.. cause i start to think that the alarm clock is broken.. cause i think that she is telling me that it's 8am.. so i think i over slep with over 6hours... and then i asked her what date it was.. and she said the 26th and then i said; so it's still thurday... and she was like; yeah.. and then i laughed and said that i don't ahve to go to work until it's the 27th...

I mainly get grumpy. Stupid people calling me... They should already know that I need sleep.

About the doorbell thingy, my friends and family just walk in, we don't really care about that.

Most of the time I get grumpy,I've had people call me ast 3am before, which isnt fun,its v.annoying, and then I cant get back to sleep and I have to stay awake..so now I just dont answer the phone 😉

Haha, I get so confused, and my semi-concious mind tries to act like it knows what is going on, so I end up saying really dumb things.

I get very confused. There are actually phonecalls I can't remember that I've had early in the morning...And sometimes I can answer the phone and talk to someone, and go back to bed, and when I wake up I'm not sure if it actually happened, or if I dreamt it...

I get VERY confused. Later in the day, my mom will ask me "do you remember what you did this morning?" I have no clue what she's talking about. It turns out, usually, that I did something quite daring, for lack of a btter word. 😉

Re:

I get very confused.. When I wake up because of my alarm clock, it takes me minutes to figure out how to shut it off.. And that happens EVERY morning..

Yeah, i will have to agree with you guys. If something happens during the night while im sleeping i probably wont remember it...its normal right?

i totaly see my self in that!! very well written! i can sit and say all sorta silly stuff for several minutes... and nothing has anything to do with anything else.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who gets like this!

JustAnnie: i think i've had an expirience or two like that... 😉

Lethe: that must be a bit awful..

eponinethen: that must be going on your nerves?

Smitten: i think it's normal.. like a month a go, my boyf woke up in the middle of the night and we talked for a min or so, and when we woke up, the next morning he didn't remember that... i think it's normal...

I can't take naps. If I do, when I wake up I'm basically "Duuuhhhhh" for the rest of the day, it's better if I just don't bother!!! 🙂

My Mom came in one night, and I was half asleep, and as she opened the door, I shot up, and I started shouting ''Oh God! Whats wrong!? Is the sky falling!?'' and she said No, and I kept telling her ''I dont understand!''

Weirdest thing was, I cant remember *any* of that! lol!

Depending on how deep i'm under, if someone calls me i'll answer it, talk away and not even know that i've done it. I don't know if its relevant chat or something else, but I get calls back in the morning with 'were you sleeping when I called' and of course they get the reply 'you called?'. And if I get a text in the middle of the night when I check the phone for the time or hear it beep I read it, delete it and forget about it.

I'm pretty easily confused, probably because I multi task most of the time and my thoughts jump from one thing to the next so easily, sometimes thinking of other things at the same time.

I was in the FCA (Irish Army Reserve) for a while, and one night while we were at the barracks, the fire alarm went at about 4 in the morning. Since alcohol in a barracks is sold at cost price, we were after getting to bed, quite tipsy, about two hours before that.

So we all dragged ourself out of bed onto the road, bleary eyed and drunk as a brewery monkey. One of the other Company's officers had dumped a smoke grenade in through a window, something unbelievably stupid and dangerous. None of us properly remembered getting up, or in the case of a friend, why all she was wearing was a t shirt and a sleeping bag, but it just spiralled into a fiasco. One of the male officers was so drunk one of the female officers had to dress him. A sergeant running down from the pub to pretend he'd been in bed all along fell over his kit and got stitches. Two people were hospitalised with respiratory distress, and the guys involved were arrested by the MPs.

Thing is, the next morning at breakfast, nobody wanted to bring it up, because they weren't sure it had really happened... 😀
