Do you have any weird habits or quirks?

I was just sitting here eating some lunch, and I realized that I have a pretty strange quirk. I always open condiment packets from the right side, which is usually the opposite side that it says to open it from.

What are some weird habits or quirks that you have?

I always read magazines starting from the back, same when I use a notebook or something, I always start from ”the back”. I think my brain would prefer it if we wrote right to left, like others do.

That's actually kind of cool! I don't think I've ever met anyone who does that.
I always put on the right sock before the left and the right shoe before the left. Do any of you do it differently?

No, but reminds me of a prankish time when I printed up a joke article that if you posted TP under instead of over that you were not only wrong, but evil, and posted copies in the bathrooms of a homeless shelter. Some took offense. Fun times.
As a rule of thumb (but not iron-clad) I tend to wear 2 colors with a splash of the third. They all have to be the same quality (light, dark, etc, so like midnight black and dark green with maybe a splash of maroon somewhere, for example, or an almost pastel blue and violet with a bit of pastel yellow or white thrown in). Leggings, arm wraps, hoodies, and the like will almost always be striped like this. Gloves, footwear, and anything on the head is incorporated into this theme.

But jeans (and overalls) don't count (though I might integrate them into my color theme). Should my jeans rip, I'll put patches over them. One time back in my teens I had cat patches over multiple rips and often wore it with a t-shirt featuring the Cheshire Cat, and sometimes added Hello Kitty merch to it. It was probably in response to a nickname I got back then I don't want to go into (but I got the nickname first).

I also love pockets. I'll even wear cargo pants at times, like when I go hiking. While I'm mystified by buying ripped clothes, using spray-on dirt, and the like for anything other than cosplay, I just shrug at it, but I find clothes without genuine pockets (especially cargo pants) to be blasphemous, and the only reason I'd buy them is to burn them (but buying them even for that would reward the makers of such an obscenity, so I don't, and suspect it's a conspiracy to try to make me buy a purse since many who make such pants also market purses).

My preferred belts will be thick, and I even used to wear studded belts. I've been mistaken for a member of a S&M club before because of my clothing, especially the studded belt that apparently all the members also wore.

Beyond that, I'm known to read things that make me laugh while say waiting for a bus. This actually gets many to ask me about it which is usually fine (as long as they're genuinely curious and not just using it as an opening to hassle me).

I rarely wear headphones while waiting for the bus but if enough bother me I will as it seems to dissuade them (whereas reading won't). I'll be rude about it if someone else is being rude to me by harassing me over something while I wait when I made it clear I'm not interested (anything from getting my digits to trying to convert me to their religion). Of course the headphones play nothing (and may not even be plugged into anything, though I'll at least try to hide that), though I might move my head as if listening to music. Someone has to be very persistent (or I have to be in a really bad mood) before I do that, though. It may be bitchy, but I'm sure it also counts as quirky.

don't own a purse so I ♥ pockets too
-I have to have the volume for the TV on an even number (or 5 or 0)
-I eat pizza crust first
-I will not wear bracelets, bangles or a watch on my left wrist

Ooh, for me the volume has to be, like, double even numbers, like 11 or 44 :D
Thanks @RachM , you reminded me that volume control numbers are another thing. I see prime numbers as the luckiest numbers so the volume control on the Subaru (which has volume control numbers) is set to 13. Odd numbers are lucky, even numbers are unlucky and the least lucky are powers of two like four, eight and sixteen. We lived in a townhouse complex for four years where we were in unit 13 and it was the only one in our block (which went from 8 to 15) that didn't have basement leaks.

I have a little OCD as well. Like when I set my alarm to wake up for something important in the morning, I have to set, delete and re-set my alarm clock 5 or 6 times until my mind is finally assured that the alarm has been activated and set at the right time. And when I am done setting my alarm, I have to stare at it for 5-10 seconds before I'm finally satisfied.

In doing my buffyverse countdown I have a few! Firstly all episodes will only be watched on the laptop with my earphones in rather than the tv. This is so it's a fair comparison. Having previously rated each episode out of 10 when I watched them all with my wife last year, I go through a 3 stage pre-watch before I actually watch the episodes on a countdown. For the pre-watch:

Stage 1 - any episode which was upgraded on the last pre-watch ie. Was initially an 8/10 but upgraded to 8.5/10 during the 8/10 pre-watch.
Stage 2 - all episodes initially rated at the same level ie. All 8/10
Stage 3- any episode from the rating above which I think could be downgraded.

Currently I am at stage 2 of my 8.5/10 pre-watch. I have 71 episodes left to go in my countdown!

Oh and I keep a record of the pre watch and countdown on both my phone and computer and compile stats on them such as average rating for each season and average position in my countdown for each season!!!

If I spill one tiny thing
on my clothes, I wash EVERYTHING I'm wearing.

Whenever the clock displayso 4:44, 2:22 etc I snap my fingers three times

If I'm wearing shoes that have treads on the bottom, when I get home I get a screw driver and remove stuff (pebbles, small twigs, etc) then run hot water on them.

I mop every day because I like the smell.

You snap your fingers, I slap myself (unless I'm not alone, then I slap the other person)
I shake my hands to dry them a bit so I avoid dripping a lot of water onto the floor.

I like listening to some videogame music.

I just watched one of the FF live orchestral performances. Some absolutely beautiful music.

I watch far too much 'Buffy' and 'Angel'...

I wash my hands with soap about 4 times before eating.

I didn't realize I did this felt until it was pointed out to me but after closing the lid of a bottle I turn it upside down with my hand under it to make sure there's zero chance of any spillage.

Amongst my friends I usually feel like the weirdo of the group. Want to thank you all (again) for making me feel normal. 😀

Maybe it's just being an ambivert, but sometimes I'm more extroverted and like being out and about with bunch of people, then other times (sometimes like hour later), I just want to be alone. 😳

I'm the outsider in my group of friends. I don't quite fit in with them, they like me though so it doesn't bother me a lot.
I have a phobia of dirty dishes, getting old food on my hands. I don't know why because I'm not disgusted by much.

I raise one eyebrow a lot and I don't even know that I'm doing it. I'm not judging you, honest!
