Do you have plans for your education?

So have you maped out a plan for you education? What do you wanna be when you "grow-up"<- LOL.... not just what you would like to do but what do you see as a very realistick outcome... what do you think you might end up working with or as in 5-10 years?(or if you're allready done with it, and you ahve ended up as something... was it what you planed?)
 
I'm already undertaking my 'education.' In my honours year of a law degree and after that well who knows 😉 A well deserved break methinks!

i just started my Ba in criminology, i'm going to take some subjects in american and british studis, and about globalizasion and powerty and so on. and i wanna studie the mafia... that sounds like a very interesting thing.. i attend the faculty of law in oslo 😉 lol
 
Originally, I had wante to be an actress, and had begun persuing that in my first year of college. Unfortunately, upon marrying my hubby, I lost my scholarships (something I didn't realize was possible since they weren;t need based scholarships) and ended up unable to go to college.

Now, I am saving up to go back to college. I am a writer and I do plan to take classes in that, but I really want to go to school to be an editor. I think I'd be good at it. I correct people all the time 😉
 
I enjoy knowledge to the most extreme, I also enjoy education and learning. However the only reason I plan to get a degree is to satisfy society and my family. That could be the reason why I have been putting it off so long...hmm...and I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up.

Seriously, I thought I would have finished with at least my BA in something or another by now. Life is full of surprises...
 
Right now (I'm in 10th grade) , I want to be a corprate lawyer, but I heard law school is really tough, and I 'm already really stresses right now. I also have been thinking about being a psychiatrist or psycotherapist, but u have to take a dysecting class, and I hate to dysect, were doing it now biology. What do u think?
 
Sorry, no idea...I have 1 year to decide which univeritate to choose but I don't know what I'd like to do in the future really...
 
Im in my first year college now and im takingModern History. i think that i might take a year out and then go to university and get a degree in history to become a historian or an archeologist or something like that.

Criminology's good, i'm on my second year of studying that as part of my degree. And next semester we take it further with comparative penology.
 
I used to want to be a Veterinarian, but the reality of me being able to pay off med. school is slim to none, so after being clueless for a few years, I started taking business classes(junior in highschool) and I'm taking Accounting now and I'm really liking it. So I'm looking into being an Accoutant or a CPA(Certified Public Accountant: pretty much the people who you pay to do your taxes)
 
i want to be a veterinarian specializing in Equines, (thats horses for you non-horsey people), Findlay in Ohio is where i would like to go for Pre-Vet. My only issue with this is the long time limits to get into vet school even with a 4.0 gpa. Some thing ive recenty looked into is an attorney who specializes in Equine cases (abuse, neglect, thoroughbred racing suits), but i dont like teh long hours associated with an attorney's job, i wouldnt have time for my own horse. My real dream would be to train but that has slim possiblities for new trainers to be successful, and even if you are you would have eto be a big time show or thoroughbred trainer to really make a comfortable living
 
Well i am a freshmen right now...And i am not worried about when i get older...the whole money thing seems over rated.Why???I plan to get money with the usual slacker ways...Robbing banks, stores, people on the streets, fencing stuff and selling it...But no drug dealing...thats sick and wrong....

Umm yeah a stupid one....not a good student, Im planning on attending Ming Chuan University in Taipei Taiwan like my brother (my brother is going there next yer) ...so yeah gonna get in entertament and business!!!
 
hu, we have freshman, then sophmore, I guess the logical thing for ME to do is say: J-U-N-I-O-R!!!!!!!! Ha!

Billihunter: I know what you mean about being a vet though, that's pretty much the reasons I didn't go into it(being that you need a high gpa, about 8 years of schooling, and the cost of that said 8 years) and the strange thing is, I was also going to specialize in Equine....lol
 
I failed my finals for high school last year, and I'm now finishing the classes I failed on a private school! I don't know what to do after this year!
 
I want to be a scriptwriter, already know the course I want and where it is and everything at uni. I have two years to save up the money and bang out some sample scripts.

(PS if you need any for whatever reason tell me and I'll try and help)

cool!!! i think criminology is great! and i feel pretty lucky, cos i think i acually go to the only place in norway where you can get a degree in it! and we have alot of great writers and criminologist as teachers and as leachture people... alot of the staf of the institute i'm on has writen alot of the books we have to read!(don't know if you heard any of them; liv finstad, kjersti ericsson, thomas mathiesen, ragnar hauge.. and nils christie, but christie is no longer with the institut!)

any ways... i like it (got alittle carried away LOl)

BTW: like to haer what you all have to say on this🙂 cool to hear what some of you have planeed, from wanting to be lawyers, to vets to bank robbers(😉LOL)... and the entertaining buisness

erm...Im in my last year of School and at the mo were doin are practise G.C.S.E's and i actually have no idea what I want to be...I want to go to college but I dont know what I want to do later on probable something to do with sport as it is the only thing im good at. Its not long till I leave school and I dont really want to leave at the moment Im eachin school I hav great friends and I dont want to go to college and lose them all as we will probably go our seperate ways. I rememba wen i wo lil i wanted to be a olympic runner but i got injured now so I think i want to teach or train people.
 
the truth is i am a freshmen..I live in Wyoming so in about 4 years(10th grade...i have 2 more years in high school, but then im gonna give myself a year off before goin back) but when i do go to collage, i plan to attend(or atleast apply) to University of Wyoming...Being a lawyer sounds cool, since i talk, always am bored, am a good listener, and LOVES to argue(sp?) with people, but my grades would never be good enough!
