I feel the need to question why a town would be named Lake, in whatever the country that it is done. Also if it officially known that they have murdered those girls why are they still there?
If the police go to arrest them but use the excuse that they get blinded by the sun in their eyes, you need different police in that town.

It would be the Ontario Provincial Police and they have not made the connection between disappearances of girls (not that rare an event) and any cult rituals. It is difficult to get the truth when the entire town in complicit.
