Do you picture people on here as their avatars?

I do this all the time to anyone who uses a single person in their avi for a long time. There was this girl who used an angry Paris Gellar from Gilmore Girls avi and that's how I saw her. It made me see her as angry all the time, so I try not to use avatars of angry people. haha
 
haha yeah I think I'm most like fred so I liked having her as an avatar - especially with her sticking her tongue out playfully cause that's pretty apt....but I want to be gwen damnit! So now you will all see me as gwen!

I command it.

I agree with [MENTION=6330]arabella[/MENTION] that even if I might not think of them as the actual picture I get a certain "feel" for them because of it. But I think this can also be dependent on the fact that people often go for avatars that speak to them in some way, like I went for mine because I am a giggely person. 🙂 But in some ways, I might also become one even more so, because people incourage and notice that side of me because of my avatar. So, its kind of like the chicken and the egg stuff isn't it: what came first, the person or the avatar? 😀 mihihihihi

I was actually just thinking about this topic. I tend to associate people's avatars with who they are on the boards. I think for sure people are attracted to different images based on their personalities. I was just wondering if I should ever change mine, but it's been so long I'm rather fond of it and feel like it's part of my BB persona....

I sometimes picture [MENTION=7585]Kean[/MENTION] as a female version of Angel, but normally I don't picture anyone as their avatars, maybe its because I change mine often. I like it to match with my banner!

Hahaha, I guess it happened to me too... But it's weird... Some have an avatar that really fit the way they talk/act, so those I usually see as their avi. For example, Miki and her Buffy avi. 🙂 I'll never be able to see you as Eliza, fool! Same with Goby, Kean, D(as Darla), Wishing Oceans, Wesley(lol), xFivebyFive, Sosa Lola and so on... They just totally fit!

Yea I used to when I first started here at buffy-boards. There was a thread...a good while ago where we showed real pics of ourselves. I still remember most of them. But the ones that didn't post....yea no clue...so yea going on the avatar thing. 😀
