So, are you the kind of person who likes exploring different places on your own? Or do you prefer having a travelling companion?

Frankly, I LOVE travelling alone. I can go where I want when I want, without considering someone else's wishes. 😁

What about you? Are you a lone wolf, or a pack animal when it comes to travel?

As it is I'm not a big traveler quite honestly, but on those occasions I do it's with at least one other person. I don't necessarily want 'a pack' but in my opinion experiencing things alone isn't much fun either.

I have yet to go traveling on my own but it's definitely something I could see myself doing; I want to once I have the funds and I don't wanna wait around for other people to have the time when I personally have all the time in the world. But then I've never been one of those people that needs others to do stuff; I've gone to the movies alone several times, I've eaten at restaurants by myself without needing to bring a book as a "shield", I think I'd do well with single traveling.

I do the same thing with restaurants
I love going out on my own but as a woman I feel afraid to travel anywhere that I'd have to stay overnight somewhere alone 🙁 last year I had to be away from home for work and I stupidly booked a hotel without checking reviews or anything, it ended up being this place by the side of a highway and it felt like the set of a horror movie, it was like Faith's motel, I felt so unsafe that night that the next day I left and booked a different hotel for the remaining three nights I had to be away even though originally I was supposed to stay there for all the nights.

The other day I checked on that original hotel on google and it's now been permanently closed thank god.

But yeah I love my own company it's just that safety issue that I think would stop me from travelling alone which sucks.

Well you smart to not live somewhere that Faith would live at. At least before getting the Mayor as her sugar daddy.
Yeah depends on the destination. I like roadtrips alone, but its getting harder to do.

I have zero interest in travelling at all. Way too hard and dangerous even if I had the money. I'd maybe consider a child-free cruise if I won lotto though.

I've done a lot of travelling alone, both within the UK and abroad. Had planned my next trip alone but my mother wanted to come so I save money there as single supplement costs can almost as much as 2 people going.

That has always been my opinion, getting to go at my own pace and do what I want to do. I took several long, solo roadtrips when I was younger. But I have thought for foreign travel especially, it would be great to have a travel companion who had similar views to myself.

There might be a few exceptions where traveling alone is better, but generally having a companion makes it that much more fun. 🙂

I've travelled with a friend once or twice. Never again. She always wanted to sleep in, while I was up at dawn. She wanted to go on paid tours, I wanted to find my own way around. And she complained about everything. She's lucky I didn't smother her with a pillow. 🥳

Maybe we traveled with the same companion. People hate travelling with me.

I get that. Thankfully my travel companions usually preferred finding things/wandering round ourselves

Oh I've had that too, went to Rome with one girl, she just wanted to look in shops we have back in England and for books, but not Italian ones! Complained about the clothing rules at the Vatican museum as well!

Never understood why people like that even bother travelling
NOON!?! 😵 I hate sleeping on off days, much less on vacation! I woulda left her azz too! 😀
Texted her where I was! geesh! 😏

I used to go shopping with a former friend. She drove me nuts. We would both be in line ready to purchase our item/items when my friend would leave the line to think if she really wanted it or them. Needless to say I stopped going shopping with her. She is no longer a friend of mine and I have not seen her in years.

I have traveled some with others and it was a royal pain. I really wanted to go off on my own. In the future if I ever went on another vacation I most likely would go alone. I could enjoy my vacation more that way.
