Hey Guys!!

So I'm sure everyone's heard about the new iPhone 5 that's being released.

I just finished watching the launch.

When ever Apple release something new its almost so much better then the previous, and some of it I find quite overwhelming, I just cant keep up!!!

At the moment I own a iPhone 3gs and I plan on keeping it that way.

The technology they release just gets more advanced each time and it makes me wonder, in the future will most technology be made by apple? Will they be first to create the product that changes how we view technology? and and maybe how we use it, even though they kind of already have.

Sorry for my rambling but I'm just wondering what other people think. Do you think they will be the masters of technology in the future? or do you think maybe people will tire of it?

Apple has been one of the top electronics manufacturers for the past 20 years. They are famous for their computers and of course the iPhone/iPad/iPods. I don't know if Apple will take over the world, but they sure are dominating the electronics markets.

"Do you think Apple will eventually take over the world?"

You mean it hasn't already? 😉

That's what I'm saying!! Because of this Do you think at some point in the future that most houses will have at least one Apple product in there home and do you think they will make the product that will change how we use technology and so forth.

They've already taken over Pointy Towers...two laptops, one desktop, two iPods and an iPad. We've got Android phones though...couldn't justify the expense of iPhones 🙂

The only reason I knew about the release was because of the ram-raid that was done just before the release.
A 4wd type vehicle was driven through the window of a store and all the Apple merchandise was taken. The vehicle then had problems reversing out of the shop.
Thing is, the number plate fell off the vehicle, while they were trying to get out. So when they found out it was missing they went back for it, and into the arms of the police who were waiting for them.
It is good advertising for the product, but really, do you think the Apple people are going to be happy that the brand is now linked with such thicko's?

I recently got an iPhone4. Mainly because the then "newer" version had Siri and she creeps the crap out of me. lol I'm really curious to find out what new things the iPhone 5 has to offer.

I'll never be a Apple fan. Used Mac when I was studying communication my first semester in college and I kept wanting to throw it out the window (though there were no windows in the room). I'm so used (and I love) Microsoft that I Apple just gets on my nerves. And it's too expensive.

The only reason I bought an Ipod is because there is no other mp3/mp4 that can give me good video quality and has that much storage capacity. Still, I'm disappointed because I thought 8Gb meant 8Gb+running system of 8Gb including running system which is really more like 6 1/2Gb...

God I hope not. I hate Apple. Haven't got a single Apple product.

If you ask me, they're overpriced as hell and not as innovative as they're always made out to be. I'm happy with my Samsung phone and my Samsung netbook.

Being from Apple is a reason for me NOT to buy something.

I think they will, but not because they mean to. Their designs affect how everything else is designed, and for the better I think, I've always liked how speak and clean their stuff is others have gone for that aesthetic and tried to recreate, not to mention all the random products that has an i stuck in front of it.

I avoided iPhones at the start they were so behind android on good features at the start (notification bar etc) they finally added all the stuff that I want from a phone so I upgraded to the 4s and love it. I had android before but I didn't like the app store it was full of allot of crap.

I also got an iPad which I love and use more then my laptop, I don't think I'd get a mac though I like the less restrictions on windows despite its many flaws, their also over the top priced for something you can get allot better for cheaper, but I do like the device design, they look allot better then most laptops.

Their own adds make me hate their products though, like the iPhone 5 is slightly better then the iPhone 4s and it's far from revolutionary as they make it out to be. I think they need to shut up and stop thinking their as fantastic as they think they are, like the iPhone 5 is slightly longer, slightly faster and slightly slimmer, that's an update they should have used for a 's' version, where they seem to release a phone then release an updated version, they should have gone for something allot better for the 5.

They will while their competitors are making inferior products at equal price points. The key is to make products which are as good and as well supported but eliminate the price-gouging. Once that happens there will be a real battle for supremacy which can only benefit the consumer.

Historically the company which is an early innivator in its field is not the dominant one in the long-term. So while Apple is doing incredibly well right now, chances are that they will lose their stranglehold on the market. That having been said, because everything they do is so propietary they don't allow for competition within their own niche, so they may not lose their grip unless people are willing to make a clean break from them, should a viable competitor arrive on the scene.

It's not completely outside the realm of possibility. I do have to say that they are marketing geniuses, what with the hype that a product announcement seems to generate. But in my opinion, they do make wonderful products. In the past three years, I have owned my fair share of Apple products. In 2009 I bought my first Ipod, a blue Ipod Nano, which I still have but my music library has far outgrown it. This was before they made the touchscreen Nanos that are the size of a postage stamp, and look kind of stupid, in my opinion. I upgraded to the Ipod Touch, but that unfortunately got stolen. 🙁 So, I decided to get the Ipod Classic instead of another Touch, mainly because the capacity is massive and it was about $200 cheaper on Amazon. I do have to say that a love the Ipod Classic. It is by far the best mp3 player I have ever owned. Plus with all the extra space, I can store all my music ripped from CDs in Lossless form, which sounds amazing. 😀 I did also just upgrade to the Iphone 4 about a month and a half ago. It was $100 cheaper than the 4s, and the whole Siri thing would be useless for me anyway. I don't need to talk to the phone to tell it to do something, I'm capable of touching the screen and pressing buttons. 😉 The Iphone 5 doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, either to be honest. I am an Apple fan, but I also like saving money. Trust me, I've either had to save for awhile or use money from my tax refund to buy these products. I do with they were cheaper, but overall I've found the quality of Apple's products to be very high, so they have been worth the price in my opinion. 🙂

I'm sure Apple will do great for many years ahead but taking over the world? No, I really don't think so.

If anything, I wonder how long they will be able to keep it up.
Many companies has been huge but it's so easy for a big company to lost their edge.
Apple won't be able to lean back and sell slightly enhanced iPhones for much longer. Someone else will, sooner or later, come up with a new bright idea an take huge market shares.

Apple take over the world? No. Skynet will.

I got an apple product and it was a gift. It's also the only one I've ever had. Not minding my Mac at all. Just took some getting used to. Anyway, I'm probably one of the least knowledagble people about Apple that you'll ever meet. I know that they're all over the place but I don't think they'll take over the world. Too much competition for that. Give it 10 to 20 years and I might have a different opinion.
