Do you think Faith still loves The Mayor like a father post-redemption?

Do you think even in the current story arc for Faith in "Angel & Faith", do you think she still loves The Mayor as a father even if she knows he was evil?

Yes. IIRC, in Season 8, she said something about finding it hard to look back at her time with him and feel anything but loved. After her actual father turned out to be a deadbeat who wanted her to kill someone for him after abandoning her and knowing what she'd been through, I think it's safe to say that she still remembers The Mayor quite fondly.

Definitely,I think even if the mayor had gone through with the ascension,she'd still love him just like buffy would live still love Giles if he killed someone.

I would say that in some way she'll always love him yes.

Absolutely, while rationally I think she can see him for what he was and her own involvement with his mission as something bad, I think there's always going to be that part of her that remembers and thinks of him as the guy who cared for her like a daughter, who bought her a silly pink dress and who believed in her. Things she didn't really have at that time. That kind of kindness touches us, even when it's from people who turn out to be bad.

Absolutely. The Mayor treated her with nothing but kindness. (he also used her but not in the way she expected so she never saw it comng)
Faith knows that he was evil but there's conflict there because she never saw the results of that evil up-close.

Probably.
He is the one of the only people who treated her with kindness before her coma, let alone making sure that she has a shelter.

From what we see in season 7, he also knew about her thing for Buffy.

It was like Spike's fixation on Buffy back in Season 2 -- Drusilla could see it from a mile away. Same thing with Faith's fixation on beating Buffy. Kind of reminds me of a phrase Darla once used to describe Lindsey's feelings toward Angel - "It's not me you want to screw..."
