For me I say no, I have never seen any proof of it and their were never really any big reports of her being one either. From behind the scene footage ive seen every season she has never acted that way either but I never worked on the set either...
I think they mean...the type of person who is like "if the temperature is in this room is above ___ degrees...I refuse to work. There will be at least five bottles of Pacific imported water in my dressing room at all times or soembody is getting fired".

I don't think she's like that, although there was an interview that aired the same day as the series finale where she said something like "the only way id every do Buffy again would be if it was about Buffy and Angel", after that I've always questioned her attitude.

She didnt say that, she said that she would love to guest star on Angel since she thinks that Buffy and Angel still have many stories that need to be told.
Sorry for the confusion. When I said diva I meant it like this:

Stuff like that. I found the fact that she told a magazine season 7 would be the last season before she told Joss or the rest of the cast very rude. If I was Joss I would be pissed. Alyson said herself "it would have been nice if she had told us and I didn't have to read it out of a magazine". Also funny how after being together seven years SMG still didn't get an invite to Alyson's wedding (even though Nick did). Also James Marsters has been going on in interviews how niced David is and how fame hasn't changed him. I can't remember him ever saying that about SMG.

I say no... I don't know what it is about her but she seems to be more Humble than Diva! Know what i mean? (Hell, I'm not sure if i do!) Anyway, she was more Diva in Cruel Intensions i suppose!

Joss was the first one to know that this would be its last season since Sarah and Joss talked about it together many times, and he was going to leave anyway.
Basically everyone on the set had good things to say about her whenever asked, and I think if she was such a diva we wouldve heard of it earlier then Season7 when all of this really started to come up.
She got a long with everyone from Season1-5 and Season6 I think she wasnt happy and she and joss always had little tiffs over Buffy.
Sarah basically grew up in Hollywood very slowly whereas David didnt make his break until 1997 so I dont really expect to see him change espically now that he has a family.
But ofcourse none of us worked on set so we will never know the truth

I said no. Most of what I've read about Sarah suggests she is a very professional and pleasant lady who is getting on with her career. It doesn't make her a diva just because her career plans don't coincide with what we want at the moment (her appearance in Angel) or because she only discussed her plans to quit the show with Joss (and not the rest of the cast or the world at large).
I don't agree Parker - I didn't invite everyone I work with to my wedding. Just because they play friends in the show doesn't mean they have to be bosom buddies off set.Parker Summers said:

Look at Sarah, she's very analytical, and she admits it. She walks into a set and she knows where her light is, she knows her lines, she has them down cold. She knows where everything is in relation to her, she knows how to get it done so you don't have to do ten takes. You do two takes and that's it. Sarah's amazing, I'm in awe of her. She comes, does good work and then she goes home. I think that's wonderful, I respect that so much. For me, I'm an amalgamation, I have a little bit of both: I always know my lines, but sometimes I also get lost in the creative side. If you get sucked into the moment, you don't think analytically. But that can be when people start the journey with you.
That explains a lot about Sarah.

I really don't think she's a diva at all. From what her co-workers say about her, she seems like a very nice person.

You can't believe what you hear about anything... unless you hear it straight from the source. I still believe that it was not Sarah's responsibility to tell the cast that the show was not returning. That should have formally been handled by ME or Joss.
She is just a person that is moving on with her job. Buffy was a job. It' hard to expect her to act as if Buffy is her entire life. Nope.
Plus--- It's not surprising that she didn't get invited to Alysons wedding. I don't recall ANY Buffy star being invited to Sarah's wedding. As said before, just because they play friends on a TV show does not meant that they are friends in real life.

I don't consider her a diva or a very warm person while acting. I mean, I expect she is a great friend and wife, but I consider her very business like. Joss Whedon has always spoken of how on - task she was. I think of her like the sort of orderly kind. She realizes the amount of pressure on her and tries to do the best she can.
