Do You Trust Kennedy?

Perhaps she took the form of Buffy. What better way to make Chloe kill herself than the Slayer telling her how horrible she's been doing (which wasn't true)...

And maybe we are just searching for reasons for Kennedy to be a bad guy, but what's the fun in having all these good guys and not having a twist to it?

In defense of Kennedy (and any SITs with tiresome traits), I don't think any of the Slayers we've met seemed to have such wonderful personalities before they were Chosen, either. Buffy was a ditsy cheerleader, Faith was a juvenile delinquent, and Kendra was raised by her Watcher, so she was undoubtedly a humorless prig.

I don't see the harm in Kendra, ok, she was boring, but that has nothing to do with this.

Yes, you are digging way too much! We could do this with Oz too, how many people do you think he might have bitten during his wolf days? ... and the way he doesnt'speak, could mean he's hiding something! ... OMG he's evil ... what is it they always say, something along the line of: when you dig, you'll always find dirt!

Actually, my point was... Kendra was boring, Faith was trouble, and Buffy was shallow before they were Called. Why should we expect higher standards of character from Kennedy or any any of the other SITs?

Kennedy may be a bossy, annoying, rich brat, but that has nothing to do with how good a Slayer she might make *or* how likely she is to be evil, IMHO.

I think my biggest problem with Kennedy, is when I think of Willow and romance, I think of Tara or OZ. Kennedy just doesn't belong in that company, so when I think of this lascivious, little troll drooling over Tara's squeeze I don't want to like her. I want her to be evil, and I want to see it early, so I can get a head-start hating her.

I mean c'mon, no matter how much you claim to like Kennedy, you have to admit--she's no Tara.

And she ain't no Oz either! Sorry, I had to say that. This is probably the one thing that bothers me about Kennedy (I mean, Willow never went this fast with Tara). I actually want to hate Kennedy, but I don't and it's a problem for me. By liking her, I feel like I'm betraying Oz & Tara. That's why I kind of jumped for joy when I saw this thread. Tara & Oz; they made sense. Kennedy just seems like a poor excuse for a new character, so I'm hoping she's evil. They only threw her in there with Willow because she's gay & not with anyone, and now they're sucking face & holding hands under the table.

OK, I'm gonna alienate everyone here but so be it.

The one thing I like about Kennedy is she is a little assertive. I think she's been too blunt, but at least she has confidence. I think it's a nice change, because Tara was so timid.

One of the things I love about Oz is that although he was quiet, he exuded confidence, as evidence in his immediate ability to approach Willow. I love it.

I actually like Kennedy, the only thing I don't like about her is her challenging Buffy all the time. I know Buffy's actions aren't perfect, but Kennedy was really quick to jump on her last episeode ("Get It Done").

So, I guess I like that she's more assertive than Tara, but think she's too assertive, and needs to shut up and listen more.

No matter what, in the end, Willow ends up in Istanbul with blue hair.

Nope, no spoiler. It's a reference to New Moon Rising. In the last conversation with Oz, Willow said if she was old with blue hair and turned the corner in Instanbul and saw him, she wouldn't be surprised.

So, Kennedy fan? That's a strong statement, but, eh...

Aww. I like that image in my head. I'm gonna write that in as my screensaver. And, you know, Joss (w/ his sick mind) would probably never end it for us that way; but that's what fanfic is for.🙂

My point exactly, which I kind of glossed over, fanfic, no matter what Joss does, can make it all better.

*Hi-fives FiveByFive* Woo!!! We succeeded in hijacking another thread!!

Let's test this Kennedy-fan theory 9th. Imagine this...

You're the writer of the final episode of Season 7. It's also the final episode of BTVS.

You have the choice: Kennedy can be dropped in a vat of acidic goo, and Seth Green makes a surprise appearance, where the last we see of Willow and Oz the two of them are happily sobbing in each other's arms or...

Kennedy and Willow shack up.

What do you choose?

i dont trust her stupid b*tch, she was one of the reasons chloe commited suicide, chole was my favourite

Are you kidding me? Oz of course! They definetly need some closure.. but lets stay on topic here.

I don't think Kennedy is a bitch, if anything, she has opened Willow's eyes since Tara died.

I'll go for the "Kennedy and Willow shack up".

Oz all the way.

but someone up there reminded me how Kennedy got "sick" for the spirit journey, and that IS fairly strong evidence. I mean, for someone who HAS been trained, and KNOWS what's going on, you'd think she'd know how important the journey could be... and certainly not FAKE an illness, just for some "alone time" with Willow. it IS suspicious!

Love makes you do crazy things! ... we all know that! ... plus if the trip was so important, why haven't we seen any of it??
