Not sure how I feel about Michelle Ryan's guest stint but I was against Billie Piper and was turned pretty sharply on that one.

Oh yes! :biggrin: I can't wait! I know next to nothing about it, which is a rarity for me, so that's going to be interesting. But ... we can almost count the minutes we have left of David's Doctor now - I'm going to be so sad when he leaves. 🙁 Matt Smith better be good and Steven Moffat better be an awsome showrunner to make up for the loss. 🙁

I know what you mean about Billie Piper. I was a bit dubious but I absolutely loved Rose and I was so sad (yes, I cried) at the end of Season 2 and 4...way too much!!

But yes, I am soooo gonna be watching!! The trailer looks ace.

I can't wait to watch it. I'm not really sure about Michelle Ryan in it, though. I didn't like her all that much in Merlin and the only other thing I've seen her in is Eastenders; which isn't much to go on. But I'm looking forward to it, I've been waiting for a new episode of Dr Who for a while now.

Um, I think there's a special something like every four months? April, August, Decemember; I think, and then he regenerates in the Christmas Special. That might not be right, just when they said there'd be three specials this year, that's what I succumbed to.

Most of Doctor Who is loosely based on something else - I have no issue either - I just think its amusing!

One of my closest buddies told me that Russell was on BBC Breakfast last week and he said the next one for November followed by 2 specials over Christmas.

I know I will love November/December, but I hate the wait until then!

Fan favourite and flame-haired beauty Catherine Tate is spotted filming the finale on the set of Doctor Who.

Filming on David Tennant's finale as the Time Lord continues today on the streets of Cardiff with the return of Catherine Tate.

The award-winning actress played Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special, The Runaway Bride, and then returned (for the first time) in 2008's Partners In Crime and remained in the TARDIS throughout Series 4. Also spotted on set was Tate's onscreen grandfather, Bernard Cribbins, and mother, Jacqueline King.

Donna has become one of The Doctor's most beloved companions with Tate herself winning "Greatest Contribution" in the most recent end of year poll in Doctor Who Magazine. After this stint on the show, the actress will be shooting scenes for the new Jack Black film, Gulliver's Travels.

Outgoing showrunner, Russell T Davies, revealed in an interview with The Times that he will not be writing part of the finale - the post regeneration scene featuring Matt Smith. The writer said, "When he appears, every word will be written by Steven Moffat. He’s Steven’s, and Matt’s, character."

When I originally posted it, the spoiler tags didn't work.

Then the link was worded to reveal the who the 'she' (and it could be any of them, trust me - its the end of Russells story, he has so many people that need a proper finishing that I wouldn't bet you know who it is) is.
Then my computer froze and wouldn't change it - but trust me, I love what I heard.

If you ever do read it and want more gossip, let me know because I found something that links with the above that made my heart leap a little.

Seriously!!!

I really enjoyed it, kinda liked Christina, Tomb Raider meets Pitch Black. I must say I enjoyed that far more than the last Christmas Special (which really bored me).
