Doctor Who Series 11 Trailer

Every new Doctor is a reaction to and against the previous one and I happened to quite like grumpy, curmudgeonly guitar-playing Peter Capaldi, so I have low expectations about the new Doctor's character.
I think she's a good actress and have no doubt that she'll be a good at 'whatever traits they decide to give her', but I am worried about the writing chops of the new showrunner; his Who- credits are not that stellar.
 
Not much in that trailer. Think I'll watch the first one but feel I'm likely to be done with the series now. The last few years have felt a bit meh and I've been watching mostly out of habit.

Yeah, I'll watch the first episode to see what it's like and if it's worth getting back into. Clara killed the show for me (the news that she was leaving was the only thing that kept me watching, I was happy she died but then they undid it which was disappointing), so unless the new doctor and companions are enjoyable then I might not be watching beyond the first episode. I didn't watch much of the series with Bill in and I didn't watch the Christmas special.
 
I’m not going to lie, I was pretty miffed they cast Bradley Walsh as a companion. I wanted 13 to stand on her own. She doesn’t need an old man beside her to be good. I think his character may be unnecessary. But I will be watching regardless because I love DW!
