Yeh i thought that too but in the paleyfest i got a different vibe when Emma talked about wanting to know more about Sarah's charity.
 
This is awesome. I'm definitely going to be keeping up with this.

Emma didn't seem to keen about speaking about Sarah. I read an interview with her once saying she had a lot of problems on Buffy her last two years there. I'm starting to think that it was because she and SMG didn't really get along.
 
Oh wow, she seemed so awkward talking about her. That was uncomfortable to watch, haha! Apart from that, it was very interesting and I'll be checking back.
 
Ouch that was awkward. You tend to hear the comment that Sarah was "professional" rather a lot from the cast, makes you wonder what really went on behind the scenes.

I know this is a mockumentary and it's so supposed to be "funny" but I'm really just not getting it.

I believe she was professional. I also believe those type of people make others who are (also professional) but a bit lax or whatever you want to call it feel inferior. I'm like that and have been told I'm not a fun person to work with but I do good work so ... I really do want to know their dynamic, though. It kills me that we don't! Haha

I'm confused, is this extra footage from Bandwagon or is this Bandwagon?

James Marsters has a lot of good stuff to say about Sarah.

"I think that's screwed" an opinion held by James on Sarah Michelle Gellar being ignored by awards such as the Emmys. He mentioned the episode Triangle after Riley departs, where Sarah Michelle Gellar must cry, but in a comical way throughout the episode. You may recall critics complaining about her ability in those scenes - saying that it was 'bad' acting. "Do you watch Party of Five?" (A collective groan resonated from the audience) James explained that if Jennifer Love Hewitt was to do the crying even half as good as Sarah Michelle Gellar did in those scenes, but on Party of Five, the world would come to a stand still, people would be raving positively about it for weeks.

James truly has nothing but admiration for Sarah, "She's taught me a lot, I love her to death" James gave an example of her talent - in the crossover episode 'I will Remember You', when Buffy and Angel's day is about to be taken away from them, when she is crying, he believes that, as an actress, "In that moment she became beautiful, she was real."
 
I watched part 1 and absolutely hated it, and it really made me hate Emma,

I then realized I had forgotten it was a "mockumentary " not a documentary, so watched part 2 and now I find it hilarious, I had really wanted to see this, but cuz it took so long to come out, I had actually forgotten what it was about, lol, funny stuff, and it works well as a web series!
 
I was thinking about this after, since it is a mockumentary, would it not be somewhat scripted? For example, I'm pretty certain Tom's comment about his webbed feet must have been made up beforehand. So could the Sarah thing have been scripted or something? I found it all really awkward, so I'm really not sure. Maybe they just improv it all.
Anyways, as I said I'm going to check back because I thought it was interesting enough. I did not really find it funny though.
And Dan, in response to that qoute from James Marsters, I'd just like to say Jennifer Love Hewitt ROCKS 🙂 (I had a ghost whisperer podcast for a long time)
 
I'm pretty certain that was scripted, because there's pretty much no way something that awkward would be purposely put into the video. It's funny, it's an awkward moment, the other character is a bit strange. Hilarious, though 🙂
 
Did anyone else find this ableist and offensive? I understand that it's meant to be a mockumentary of self-important celebrities, but it tries to sell a lot of its humor not on the ignorance or condescension of Emma Caulfield's character, but on the actions and "innappropriateness" of the character who is clearly supposed to come off as socially disabled in some way.

I don't know, I just feel very uncomfortable watching this. I don't find it very funny either.
 
Okay, I had to edit because I was totally confused... and now I feel stupid. haha. I thought this was real... and that she was doing something really sweet, but it's kind rude that she talks about her like she's not even there.

That's why I was thinking it was scripted too. They'd never put it in if they didn't want to. Maybe it is supposed to be awkward and they're making fun of they way people respond to questions like that or something?

That's what I thought. On the note of Bandwagon, I love it's humor. Its not for everyone... it's really dry mean awful humor. I love it. I can't wait for ep 4 to be released on Wed. We get to see the audition.

Also, like Emma, I think it's kind of funny some people think this is real. Which probably says a lot of awful things about my sense of humor.
 
LOL I love how in episode 3 Joss Whedon just calls and is like "ummm, sure she can try out for Angel." 😛 hahah
 
Hahahaahah I just watched like 6 eppies. Freakin funny as hell man! THis is the movie just broken up into "eppisodes" right? whats going on with the "2nd season"?
