Buffy is known as someone who loves fashion (or is it just me?). And she loves shopping. And we never see her outfits again for a second round, so she must have A LOT of clothes. But... how does she have time for shopping? I mean, sure, shopping once in a while, makes sense. But she has so many clothes that I have to wonder when she even has time to shop for all of those?

Well in season 6 you can see her shopping with Dawn. They are shopping when the sun shines so brinkster is probably right!

Everyone has time for shopping!! But seriously she talks about going to the mall so perhaps she goes there on weekends and Joyce would have bought things for her not counting Christmas/birthdays etc

I'm sure she has time. We only see a small chunk - maybe a span of a week, tops - on the show. It shows Joyce taking her shopping in S2 and I think it's referenced a few times, so she must find some freedom in her schedule!

I'm sure with the amount of clothes that get ruined while she's fighting, she has to shop a lot. That's the only excuse I can come up with for why Buffy never wears the same outfit twice. 😉

I don't know how interesting an episode where Buffy goes shopping would be lol

LMAO Yeah... Unless they wrote a story where she tried on a "posessed" garment that began tightening and tightening til it tried to choke her to death. That might be kinda fun. You know.... in a Buffy sort of way.

Idk about choking but i like the idea of tight clothes :)
If she didn't have time, then online shopping. Plus, I bet her wardrobe was already very well stocked up from her pre-Slayer days as an airhead in LA.

I love when "magic-ed-up" Amy asks this in "Wrecked." It's a good point!

I like to think that Buffy swings by the stores at the end of the day, before closing, so that when she's done shopping she can patrol on her way home. I can see her throwing her new clothes behind a bush when she encounters a vamp/demon and sometimes forgetting to grab them before going home-- then remembering her clothes, going back out and slaying a few more vamps in the process.
