Does an av matter to you?

I was just wondering, if someone had a S1 Willow avatar, would you think that person sounds nervous when you read their posts? Or if another person had a Spike avatar, would they seem sarcastic and laid-back? Does a person av make any difference to you?

My bet is that this thread won't do very well, lol.
 
I'm not quite sure what you are talking about. I think that you are asking if our avatars reflect our personality. If that is the case, I don't really think so.

I have talked with people who say that they think the person might look like their avatar. I suppose it is just how we associate it...

Do you think that they do?
 
I totally get what your talking about, and yes. I kinda think that.

I guess i chose my avatar because it kinda has some of attitude in it, and i guess thats why poeple choose them.

I mean i wouldn't say you two would have an attitude like faith or Andrew, but some people you just kinda recognise like that.
 
I agree, when I read Chasity's post, she sounded all serious and nerdy (no offence)... this offcourse means, I gotta change my av soon!
 
I actually agree, but not in that way.
If someone ever shows me a pic of themselves, and they're off here, I was expect them to look like the person in their av...sometimes....Im strange and silly...
 
My av is of Fred, and I am nothing like her because I am male, so I don't see how that works.

I'm actually the exact same way. So we can both be strange and silly.

And I agree, in someways...yea, I sometimes pick avatars that reflect off my personality. Mostly their of Buffy, or Buffy/Angel. My new one, well, its got that little bit of attitude in it as well.
 
Mine tend to reflect my mood - although in saying that if I changed my av as often as my moods changed I'd go through about 20 avs a day! ::evil1::
 
lol,I dont change my av that often,only if I see a Bangel one or a spike one
 
My avs are always of Angel because I love him,not because I am like him(The Male Slayer thinks I am lol.😛)...or of Buffy&Angel because I am a bangel shipper
 
I dunno..I always pick Angel avatar even tho Darth Willow's one'd more reflect my personality..😉
 
i was only a bit freaked out!!lol,well if someone said to you Evil Willow more reflects my personality what would you think?!LOL!
