Does an av matter to you?

I just pick avatars of characters I like and that are rarely used.
 
personally I dont think an av matters. It might tell you which characters they are a fan of or something but I could have a Faith avatar (like I do now) yet I am nothing like Faith.
 
I don't think that an avatar or sig. reflects the person as a rule, but in some cases, I find that they give me prconcieved impressions, and that at times, they can be very telling to a persons personality...
 
Well, I think the av discribes something about them.(like my av is angel, and we all know i chose it cause im obsessed with David Boreanaz) but i look nothing like him!
 
LOL, I don't know about the person being like the character but I sometimes think that the expression of the character in the AV or the colors/mood of the AV often gives me a certain feel about the person that it belongs to.
 
So not a demon from Hell...I just picked my av 'cos it was a bit different and not as girly as some of the pics (no disrespect meant, but, hey, not a girly 😉) - just a shame he turned out evil (is there a Clem av btw? I would definitely change to him)
 
lol...my old av a cordelia screaming was ill...liked she was having a gasm...i thought it was cool so i used it...

So true, whenever I see your avatar, I get the feel you're crazy... no offence 😉
 
I tend to relate the facial expressions of people's av's with the person posting, not that I think it reflects a person's personality or anything....
 
Now, you mention it. Your posts always seem to be uptight and very strict, no offence.
 
My AV's are usually Xander/Anya as they are my fave Characters!! It more reflects my interests then my personality...
 
I have no idea...I only choose my avatars because I like em lol The one I have now, I have it up because Buffy, Angel and Faith are like my fav Buffy/Angel chars lol

Perhaps thats just the way you are reading them, as when I read them I don't get that feeling at all.

With me, my av changes, sometimes its Faith or sometimes its the guy i'm most into. My one at the moment reflects the fact that like Glenn's character in RSVP i'm doing a lot of criminology and smoking.

I love the buffy angel faith av cause they are my fave also...Anyways, i think it has something to do with the person's personality cause they chose if for a reason!
 
I think that the av matter so much. Donno if it's same for everyone, & i think it might be unconscious sometimes.
I mean hello, don't we all picture ppl we r talking to into our mind?
I'm personnaly picturing ppl from their av when I don't see their pic, or their personality appears.
lol, for instance, Rayne avatar is so original & i think it give a good insight of ur personality (even tho i don't u really)
Their is a thing which is a bit weird however, when 2 person have the same av, it's so weird, coz sometimes u just look at the av, not at the name & u think it's another person who speak.
Till u realize it's weird, & u look at the name however, lol

It probably has to do witht he fact that she's a mod and I have seen her telling people off.

And yeah Rayne, you're a little on the odd side, but we all like that 'bout you.
