While watching "Chosen" in the end, does anybody else still get anxious when seeing if Buffy will survive the collapse of Sunnydale?

Having seen it four or five times now, I have to say no. I was cetrain she wouldn't make it the first time I saw it, so I wasn't really anxious then either. Pleasantly surprised, though 🙂

Na, not at all. It's a wonderful scene and I always cheer her on, but come on, I had no doubt in my mind that Buffy would make it through the collapse. Just like I had no doubt she would survive that sword wound through the chest. Once, or twice, but I highly doubted Joss would kill her again. That would be so......lame. 😛

I think I read a false spoiler about a lot of the scoobies dying in Chosen so I was kinda worried about Buffy lol. The first time I watched I honestly thought it was the end for her when she got stabbed through the gut by that random Turok han.

I always get anxious during suspenseful parts of any show - no matter how many times I've seen it. I always get lulled back into the story.

haha me too, every time I watch titanic I get nervous when the iceberg approaches and I've seen it...billions of times
The anxious bit only happened the first time for me, now I just sit back and enjoying trying see if there were any good or strange bits missed from watching before.

Fredikins,
I get a bit nervous when the iceberg was hit by Titanic, I mean, you are never told what happens to the poor iceberg afterwards. I hope it was alright!
The whole ocean to play about in, and the ship ploughs right into the iceberg. There it was, just bobbing about in the water, probably enjoying itself then WAMMO! some sodding ship drives into it. Naughty ship.
I wonder if the Captain of the ship told his family to buy shares in a certain film company?

Oh yeah, and about that little Buffy thing, the music was a bit of a give-away. And the first appearing to Buffy..., if Buffy was dead the first would have been the only Buffy. Plus with the time till the end of the show, it wasn't long enough to include a death scene for the main character.

LOL No. I've seen it enough times by now that it's no longer a nail-biting, hair raising escape from Sunnydale. I know by now that yes, she's going to be able to jump all the buildings in time, and yes, she's going to get on top of the bus and get the hell outta Dodge.

I"m pretty sure I wasn't nervous even during the first watch. I knew they wouldn't kill Buffy off AGAIN, and even if they were going to, I knew it wouldn't be with such a whisper in that way. Plus, season 7 had those movie scores that tell you everything that's going to happen before it actually does.

I wasn'r nervous because I knew that after season 7 there was season 8 (comicversion). If Buffy had died the hole afterwards story wouldn't made sense. So I knew that she will survive!
