Ok so i was woundering if any BTVS fans here happen to watch Vampire Diaries, and enjoy it?
VD has become like my new vampire show obsession. I absolutly love it, right behind Buffy 🙂
I am currently anxious for the 3rd season to premiere on september 15th. Anyone else waiting to tune into this wounderful show?

My Favorites:
Character- Damon Salvatore. His character has so many layers. He is a badass evil bloodsucker, yet there this soft side he cain't deny. I just love tuning into his character each week.
Ship': Damon and Elena, their chemistry is just undeniable and when they ar in the same room I caint help but fangirl 🙂
Episode: 2x21 "The sun Also Rises". This action filled suspense episode had me loving it the whole way through. Elena's courage was inspiring aswell. loved it!

Why I enjoy: The writers of this show each week bring you another amazingly crafted episode. They will have you guessing one thing to only be surprised by another. Plus the cast are some of the best actor/actress's I have seen on tv. they alone make the show amazing!!!
 
I haven't seen it yet but everyone under the sun is telling me I MUST watch it.

Because of Damon I guess. I really need to look into it.

Does seem like something I'd like.

You should. It is a really great show, and Damon is the best character. I'd say he reminds me in a way of Spike. He's dark, but he's got a soft side you'll see.
Defiently give it a shot.
 
I've read the books, so when I saw there was a show, I was excited. It's different, but I like it.

Favorite Character: Caroline/Stefan
Favorite Ship': Stelena
Favorite Episode: Oh, there are a lot!
What makes you enjoy this show?: I love the love between Stefan and Elena. Personally, I don't think Delena would work well, and I have very reasonable reasons why. Stefan and Elena are what make the show watchable, when Caroline's not on screen. 😛 Caroline, I didn't think much of her until the middle of the first season when she first got with Matt. Then,
when Katherine/Damon turned her into a vampire
I think that just made her really come into her own as a character.

Gotta say, I'm not happy with the s2 finale. I think the writers are caving to the pressure from Delena/Damon fans too much. I don't want
Stefan to go evil and never come back. And if Damon and Elena have a sex scene, I'm so done with this show. It's not like Elena's character to switch brothers. And after all Damon has done to her!

I agree. I completely hated Season 2 finale.

What makes you enjoy this show?:
I love Stefan and Elena. I started watching this because I thought it would be a more "grown-up" version of Twilight and it would be a story that would keep going. I didn't expect it to be all that it is. 🙂

What makes you enjoy this show?: Everything.lol. There's not one thing about it specifically.
 
Was a time when I was addicted to it. I watched first season like 4 or 5 times. My mom has shared this obsession with me and she could knock at my room's door at 1 a.m. saying "sweetheart, can we watch the next episode?". It was last summer.
I don't have this obsession now, I watch the new episodes, but they are not as good as they were. Also my mom still loves that and when she watch an episode that she saw like 6 times, I see an excitement on her face. Sometimes we could talk by phone about new episodes for 10 minutes. Or, she talked about them...

By the way, I wait for new season. And I'm really glad that Paul Wesley is 100% Polish. We've got our guy on a popular show!
 
Favorite Character: Damon he made the show for me most of the time. Caroline is amazing she is the only female character I absolutely love 100%.

Favorite Ship': Well um I am not to big on the ships yet so much potential. I liked Stefan/Elena but I like Stefan more and I like Damon/Elena but again I like Damon more. The only ship I loved hardcore was Anna/Jeremy they are adorable. Although Katherine/Stefan and Caroline/Stefan could catch my eye.. 🙂

Favorite Episode: Wow tough one I love so many well I can't choose. I can say I love a lot of the Katherine episodes she is so sassy! 😛

What makes you enjoy this show?: There are many great characters and relationships. I think also the writing I find it to be some of the best and very underrated it is kind of looked at as a teen show but I know people of all ages who enjoy it.

The characters that I love I really LOVE. I would say they have some amazing male friendships now and potential. They also have some good romance relationship I may not know who I ship permanently among certain people like Delena or Stelena but I think for now they are both good in ways.

Lastly I will add this show has amazing story! It is always making you ask questions and really go on this ride which is kind of rare at times.

It's really not a huge part of it. Yes, it's there. But for me, The Vampire Diaries rests on the relationship between two brothers.

I just finished S1 last week. Whilst I enjoyed it I can't say I have huge enthusiasm for any of the characters, bar Jeremy. I'm waiting for the DVDs to come out next month to see S2 but I can't imagine that changing.


Favorite Character: Jeremy. I think he is the most genuine and sweetest of the whole bunch. And also think he is the only one truly concerned in what's right and not what benefits the individual.
Favorite Ship': Don't have one *gasp*
Favorite Episode: Don't have one (Yet)
What makes you enjoy this show?: I love the historical aspects of it, how they interlace the present with the past; I'm a real sucker for that kind of thing. Of course, they have taken great license with the history but I still enjoy it.

Jeremy's one of my favourite characters too. I care more about the minor characters (Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline) than the main ones.
