I love charmed, honestly, the bad storylines and bad acting really didnt show up much except for after the 5th season. When the 6th season hit, I really think that they should have ended the show, it did seem quite pointless as it seemed they kept fighting the same thing over and over again, I mean how many times does barbos (the demon of fear) have to keep coming back before they can drop that character. Maybe the end would have been much better if it all ended when prue died.

Agreed. I actually think that the show had already started to lose direction by the end of the third season but at least up until Prue's death the basic series concept remained intact.

Bringing in Paige was probably the biggest mistake they made. Not because of the actress (who I think is very cute and pretty good at what she does) but because it stunk of desperate plot device that took away the very point of the original Power of Three. If they had to continue at all then it would have been a better option to recast Prue, maybe going with the idea that Prue has to alter her appearance and ends up not being able to change back. At least then the show could have kept it's stability a little more.
