Does anyone wanna buffy-Chat?

Hey everyone!

Does anyone wanna have a buffy rpg-chat? Because I'm free to talk to!
 
What do you mean an RPG chat, you mean a live RPG in a chat room, that's what this is. If you're interested, check the web site.

However you can't just start your own, the chat RPGs are hosted here by permission of the board admins... and chat groups are run by GMs by permission of the Chat RPGs Admin (who is me).
 
I was just wondering :$ If you had any plans to run a more UK acessible Buffy Chat RPG? Since I would love to play, but past midnight is a little excessive for me...
 
I have been talking about it with Faith. But I'm not sure what may come of it. But it's something I'd like to do if I could... cause I know that there were a few UKers who were interested, but couldn't due to the time. I've been trying to start a Roswell Group up on Tuesdays, but if that doesn't work (as I've yet to get any apps) I may decide to use that time for a shot at another Buffy group that might be a little more GMT friendly. Should I do this, the time would probably be either 9pm or 10 pm on Tuesday night for GMT. Would something like that work for you?
 
I think that might work, but I don live in the uk, poor me 🙁 anyhow can I make a seggestion? on another board (www.theprophecy.net) they have ppl makin families and adopting other board members 😀 we could do that??
 
I have to wait until i'm back at university before I can commit to a group, as i'll have to get a job too so I don't know the hours.

Alyson - We do not allow board families here as is stated in the rules

We had it on the previous boards and it turned out messy so have decided against it this time. If you have any more suggstions please post them in the help forum 🙂

If it were possible, that would be a perfect time for me... 😀 Not too late or too early for UK-ers... But, whatever you guys have chance to do 😉
 
Alexa ~ Cool, well I'd definatly keep it in mind, if the Roswell group falls through, I will definatly consider running another Buffy group at that time 🙂

Cause it's fun when we can get enough players in to actually play... 🙂
 
I'm not sure how the time would work for Aussie, the current game plays at I believe 9am on Fridays Sydney time. The new time I'm considering I think would be Wednesdays around 6 or 7 am Sydney time.

But I think Faith was considering a different time frame if she ends up able to do the group she was thinking of.

I'll keep everyone updated on new groups and times for Buffy Chat RPG groups 🙂
 
Well, you have to figure out what time that is in Perth for yourself. I gave you the Sydney time figuring you can work out what time that means, I'm not here to translate every single time zone for everyone. I figure the Pacific, Eastern, GMT, & Sydney times for a playing group and then from that I expect that everyone else can figure out what time that amounts to in their specific time zone.
 
ohso you live in Syd? ok! I'll try to be there, where is it going to be held, though?? (sorry, I think you mentioned that but the brains a bit slow at 2 in the mournin!)
 
No, I live in California, but because I run the Chat RPGs I have learned to figure the times for 4 time zones, so it's hopefully simpler for others to then work out their time zone from the ones given.

We play in a chat room using mirc or MS Chat. If you want more information click the banner in my sig and read the Web site, it will tell you about the rules and the chat programs and what server we use. Right now the only playing group is this one that plays Thursdays 4pm Pacific time, 7pm eastern, Midnight (Thurs/Friday) GMT, 9am Friday Sydney time.

If that is a time you are able to come online and play in the chat room then you need to submit an application. The applications are on the Chat RPG web site.

And as I said, I am considering doing another on Tuesday, and Faith may be doing a third, possibly. So I will let everyone know if and when a new group might be opening.
 
want to know?

i was wondering what kind of control i would have over my character if i joined i sent you an e-mail the other day about joining i think there should be more times for the rping then once a week but i know you can only do so much.
 
You have most control over your character, so long as it fits in the bounds or storylines of the episode.

And I'm planning to do a second group that will play on Tuesdays. However if you mean more then once a week for each group, that's a bit too much to ask of people to be available for.
