So, I was just watching Halloween and realized that Willow was turned into a ghost...so do you think that the First could have been her if he chose since she tecnically died on that ladies porch? Just wondered what any thoughts were on this. Sorry if it has been posted before....

Im 50/50 on this, Willow didnt die an actual death in Halloween, she just turned into a ghost by a spell and reverted back to normal after the spell was broken so I say no right now since then the first could turn into alot of people from that night, espically the ones who dressed up as vampires.

never thought about that angle before.

Wow.

Considering the point of to be a ghost, you pretty much have to die. now, she dies magically, and then is restored back to a human.

But--- Buffy died magically (season 5) and then was restored as a human( bargaining, season 5) and the First used her form.

hmmm....

I think it would...
In Halloween Willow gasps for breath so she does actually die.....

Ah darn you for making me think!!! 🙂

I don't know if it would count..I mean her soul didn't leave her body right? She was still Willow, or wait...did her body stay there on the porch? It's been a while since I've seen that eppy. So if it did, then yes, her sould did leave.

Again...darn you for making me think!!! 🙂

i never thought of that before, but i don't think so.. cos she doesn't die in real life, it's just a spell... to me it seems like the whole thing is happening, but it's more of an illusion than reality

That's so funny, because I saw that ep today and I wondered the same thing... Probably it doesn't count, kind of like Buffy's getting turned into a vampire (and you have to die for that to happen) in Nightmares didn't count. Or at least I assume it didn't count, b/c they didn't send for a new slayer.

Interesting point Rayne. I don't think it would count as Willow actually dying, for the same reason as polexia said. Willow didn't technically die, it was a spell to turn everyone into their costumes.

I've wondered that for awhile, and I came to the conclusion that I have no idea. You could say she died, because she was a ghost. And you could say it was just a spell, so she did not technically die. So, like PrimalSlayer said, it's 50/50 really.
