Does Size Matter?

Well, actually, yes, it matters to me.

Fortunately, I've got a partner who loves me in every shape and form. Unfortunately, I don't love myself if my jeans don't fit any more. So, time to start dieting again. Sometimes I think: will it ever end? I know I should change my eating habits, but let's be honest: is living of fruit and vegetables only really living?? Not for me, it isn't! (Especially when you're allergic to most kinds of fruit and vegetables... but even if I weren't - Pizza's much better...)

So, I've become used to it: eat and enjoy life for as long as you can because the next diet is already lurking ...

Most people dont have their 5 portions of fruit and veg but most people (including myself) dont like eatin lots of fruit and veg,so we all beat ourselves up about it..

A former school-mate LOVED vegetables of all kinds. She HATED chocolate and ice-cream. I ask you people: is that human? 😀

I dont pay attention to how big a person is, or how skinny they are.
Size doesnt matter, its your heart, and your personality that counts...

Looking good is a MUST! ... If you wanted to be accepted by society, 'cause our society has somehow taught us that when you look good, you become popular and rich, which we don't. They show beautiful people on tv and make us want to be them. They make us feel less then those images of perfect people, which in its way feeds our consumerism, 'cause we'll do anything to live up to that perfect image, don't we? We'll buy the newest car, not because we need one, but because the neighbours got one too, because we don't want to feel less then them. We want to be perfect in every aspect, 'cause society promises us great wealth and all. Result of which, people who are not the best looking feel bad about themselves.

However, it's just appearances. Sometimes we forgot what it's all about, it's not about money, not about wealth, not about fortune and certainly not about good looks. It's all about what goes on in one's head, and fortunate for some, unfortunate for others, good looks have no effects on it, what so ever.

PS: Sorry if I went a bit OT.

All I try to do is to be healthy-unfortunately for me, that means dieting alot because I have a VERY bad back, and being overweight BY ANY AMOUNT is too much because it hurts ALOT. So, although I don't lose any weight 🙂 I'm constantly dieting.

I think size matters about as much as looks matter-THEY DON'T!

did ya ever think bout takin perscriptions for your back or anythin jackie?

That is exactly why people shouldn't worry what you look like. society says people should be this size, and everyone over it is not "beautiful" or "pretty" but know what I think? Those girls that walk around thin as a pole makes me think: Anorexia. It's sickening how thin people think they need to be. If people start getting away from society's "look" then that so called "look" and "beautiful people" will not be in our influence anymore. If society says you need to be a size "0-2" to amount to anything(which makes me just think of ways to get people into bed) then screw them. The personalities what counts, not always the look. And society's promises of wealth don't always come true. People that starve themselves into looking the way society thinks people should look don't always end up with their wealth. Those people who become bolemic or anorexic because of this promise of wealth and the "need to be thin" often end up dead or in the hospital with tubes shoved in them to get them back to their normal size. So, why strive to be thin when it just results in bad things anyway? and even if you don't have a disorder, then you still don't know if you're "pretty" enough to get a roll in a movie or stage performance of anytime. Those directors know what they're looking for in a person, and all it matters is if YOU have what they picture that role to be.

I'm gunna start a diet. I'm not over-weight or anything like that, I could just stand to lose a few pounds (20). I don't need to lose them, I just want too. Not really saying size matters when it comes to me, it's just something I wanna do.

well putin on weight for me is an option even if i think im fat... my bf says i have small boobs and that makes me mad. I DO NOT!!!
Im 5'5'' and 112lbs....size 0 to 00.
This guy I met in Taiwan the last couple of weeks said I was to skinny for a white girl and I need to have an ass and that PISSED ME OFF TOO!!!! SO I HAVE NO BOOBS AND NO ASS!!!!! GRRRRRRR!
I kinda liked him and he liked me too (but thats a nother story)
I dot think size matters...I mean if your muscular and all its ok...but I (not to ofend anyone) I would never want a bf that weigs more then 180lbs(and is less then 5'9'') Im kinda weird like that and im selfish and worry to much about image. So i think it it does matter to me in a way. Ive only dated like a couple of boys that are over 5'9'' and arnt asian but none of them have ever weighed over like 170lbs and if they did they wernt fat they were muscular.
