The official Facebook page for ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has revealed a brief TV spot for the new television series, accompanied by an intriguing note regarding tomorrow night's second episode, titled "0-8-4."

"Be sure to stay until the end of the credits on Tuesday," the post teases. "In true Marvel fashion, you never know what might happen."

The eagle-eyed EW has pointed out that, at the end of the video, the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo is shown wearing an eyepatch, a la Nick Fury. Could the surprise be a cameo by Marvel Cinematic Universe superstar Samuel L. Jackson? It's certainly a solid theory, but we'll have to wait until tomorrow night to be sure.

"0-8-4" follows Agent Phil Coulson and the agents as they travel to Peru to investigate a mysterious object. There, they run into Comandante Camilla Reyes

I'm not mad on this idea, it's bad enough making us wait till after the credits in the cinema - which has to be one of the most awkward things ever, you scoff at those that left straight away, but then after 4 minuets of credits you start to worry there may be no after credits scene, you know the others that have stayed feel the same way (it's in the air) and no one can leave until the screen goes blank or we get our scene, then the cleaning staff come in and the light come on, your less nerdy friends are checking their phones clearly already decided there is no scene, but you still convince them otherwise and continue to sit, but secretly your thinking "oh crap, they can see my expressions with the lights on, dont give it away that you think there's no scene either", you make small talk about the movie, but nothing lengthy cuz any moment know you'll have to shut up for the The Scene (you hope), your trying to keep your friend entertained so they stay, cuz if they leave and your left alone and there is no scene, you'll never live it down.
Then the lights go back off, and The Scene starts, the staff do a double take - they've forgotten the after scene too, "HA!" you say in your head, "I'm the most clever now, I told you all!!"

... Then the bastards give you a crappy scene between Iron Man and Bruce Banner, that is more fun, then exciting, sets nothing up and doesn't hint at any possible future story lines for the next movie, or contain any footage of setting up Ant Man or Guardians of the Galaxy - even though they released an Iron Man toy (leaked early) of Iron Man wearing his Deep Space suit, which every blog out there took as evidence the film would have something to do with Space.

Fine Marvel, I will sit. I will wait till after your SHIELD credits - and I will get excited, but you do not let me down.If you do, I will be forced to say I'm never waiting till the end of the credits again, and we both know thats a lie, cuz I will always wait, even when I forget X-Men First Class isn't technically a Marvel movie, and contains no after scene credit, but I sat there anyway!

Best post ever.
Top class ranting BEG...I'm in the same camp as you. I've sat in the cinema like a right lemon waiting for after-credits scenes that never came but I still do it anyway 🙂

X-Men first class had me furious, even though it isn't Marvel studios the other ones had one!
(Big Shameless spoiler ahead, I've forgotten how to hide spoilers....

Look away now...)

Surely it's not as bad at home though? I remember that Shameless UK once had a post credits sequence that had the huge twist that Frank wasn't actually Ian's real father and they never mentioned it again!
