I just got this vibe from tonight's episode that Wesley is into Fred, and Lila seemed to notice it too. Could something be in the works for those two?? I like her together with Gunn, but a triangel with them and Wes would be pretty cool. Well, just wondering your thoughts.

I was getting the same vibe i love gun and Fred but i also like the thought of Fred and Wesley. I don't know which couple i think i like better though

Wes liked her last season remember, Gunn and Wes were fighting over her. He may still have feelings for her.

Oh, well, i didn't get the WB last year, so I'm kind of new to the show, I'm trying to read all of the synopsis of the episodes, but I hadn't made it to Season Three yet

I think Wes does indeed have feeling for fred as he did last season and while i haven't seen the ep in question i don't see how something like that would die off. The idea is an interesting one, the two of them together that is.

It was obvious last season that Wes liked her. Personally I can't decide who she looks better with, but already Fred and Gunn have too much going on.

Wes clearly can't say no to Fred, even though he comes staight out and tells her that she should be listening to the warnings of her AI friends.

His tone of voice when speaking to her is much softer and gentler than we've heard since the kidnapping.

He shows up at Fred's talk, which is enough to make Lilah, with her mind like a steel trap, suspicious (possibly jealous?).

Could this be the setup for a "Dark" Wes/"Dark" Fred pairing later on this season?

Wes does seem to soften around Fred. He seems to like her smarts too. He actually understands all that science stuff she talked about.

Although I really like Gunn and Fred, and don't want them to break up, I was always torn on who I wanted her with before she made her choice.

And while Wes does have Lilah, it's simply not the same. I don't think he really loves her, or even could. I think she's just lust. Some convenient, and good looking skin to have fun with. Seeing as he still seems to truly dislike what she does. Hard to actually like someone when you don't like what they do.

Lesson # 1: There are no happy long-term couplings in the Buffy-verse (Buffy/Angel, Giles/Jenny, Willow/Oz, Xander/Cordy, Xander/Anya, Buffy/Riley, Willow/Tara, etc. etc.). I was actually Very disappointed when Fred and Gunn hooked up. I wanted her for Wes back then and he clearly still cares for her tremendously. You never know, it could happen 🙂

I think Gunn has killed the puppy love with his disposal of the professor. "Do as I say, not as I do" will not sit well with our girl, not to mention that there's this Secret now - Angel doesn't know what actually happened and they don't seem about to enlighten him.

Buffy Anne ... no need to lecture us (not me at least), we all know what you are trying to say, but we already knew that, right? Ow and lesson 1 is a little different, same conlcusion different text!

Lessons # 1: "Happy couples are boring!"

And though Wes only uses Lilah for lust they are together now, I don't think he and Fred will ever really hook up, I have know Idea why, but it's just this feeling!

I was glad to see Fred and Wes interacting. She never did anything bad to him so he has no real reason for disliking her. One thing that they have in common is that they're both extremely booksmart. That's probably why he's so interested in her. Wesley deserves an apology for that whole hospital, attempted-strangulation incident. Him and Angel should just shake hands and stop holding grudges. That way, he could join the team and tell Lilah to take a walk!

First of all Lilah/Wes is great, put a lot of dynamic in the show! Sleeping with your Arch-Nemisis is very recommandable and very tempting. But the whole Wesley abducting Connor, it's not likely to blow over, though Angel seems to be starting on forgetting about it, Wesley is wise and stays away (for now)! Wes is to dark for Fred, who is all sweet and innocent!

Another possible reason why Wes feels for Fred all has to do with that violent incident that took place last season in the episode, "Billy." All the fans that saw that episode know what I'm talking about. I mean, if I were in his shoes, I'd be nothing but nice to that girl. The fact that Wesley remembered everything he did to her probably scarred him permamently. Everytime he sees her, that's probably all he thinks about.

Uh... I didn't see Buffy Anne's comments as being rude in the slightest. No idea where you took offense!

But yeah, Wes and Gunn both fell in love with Fred at the same time last year, and it all culminated in the ballet episode. Wesley still has at LEAST feelings for her, if not still love. His thing for Lilah is just distraction and temporary appeasement. Funny seeing Lilah jealous though.

Not that upset, just pointing out, that if she wants to lecture us, she has to do it right! ... no hard feelings!

What happened in that episode? I missed it!!

And as for Fred and Wesley, i was actually happy about their interaction in tonight's episode! I've always wanted them to get together (and my heart just about broke into two when i finally saw "Waiting in the Wings" a month ago) It's good to see that Wes's feelings have not disappeared.

Thinking now, when Fred was in the car with Wesley, she made the comment that the fact that Gunn didn't want to take vengence (or something like that) was one of the things that she loved about him, but we all saw what happened to the Prof in the end, so that makes me wonder...

Billy, the punk that Angel rescued in "That Vision Thing" had the power to make men harrass women simply by physical contact. Wesley accidentally touched Billy's blood and by the time he arrived at the Hyperion, Fred was there, and he verbally and physically abused her. It was so bad to the point that he almost killed her. After a while, the effect wore off, except his memory of the event which obviously brought out a lot of guilt. He felt so miserable about what he did that he was literally crying at the end. Even though he apologized to Fred, he probably never forgave himself.

Yes, but in "Billy" Fred knocked Wesley out...so Fred can take care of herself. Furthermore, at the end of that episode, it was Fred who went to Wesley's place and asked him to come back to work.
