There are two distinct Buffy "era"s...High School (S1-3) and Post High School (S4-7). I was just curious as to the BBers opinions on which is their favorite based on which era you are at in your own life.
 
Well I'm in College (UK version so 16-18) and my favourite is well all of it but theres something about S4's collegeness (which would be "University" here) I like so its kind of similar.
 
I'm in college and I thought the Buffy high school days were better.
 
I went through school at around the same time as Buffy's skool years were broadcast ... Highschool BTVS remains my fave now though...
 
Same here, I went to university when Buffy went to college. I did prefer the High School era and post college. Wasn't too into the college season. Wasn't keen on the initiative but I did like Adam.

My favourite Season's are 3, 4 and 5...

My fav seasons are 3-6 and well uh... right now I'm working and doing some college credit-y course thingies...ah damn I don't know what they're called.
 
I voted BTVS Era: High School My Era: Post High School.

I graduated from 4 years of University in 1996. So that selection was the above one.

I loved the University seasons and the post-university seasons. Maybe for someone graduating Uni, it was just a little easier on me when they finally graduated HS. I'm just glad they didn't just keep them in HS each season.
 
I only just started high school, and voted for post years because I think season six was just amazing.

I see what you have in mind here but since I am not only post HS, post undergrad, post graduate etc..Well, my favorite is based on character development. Sorry to say Buffy herself was written rather poorly toward the end. Don't know if the writers were all in a muddle or because SMG was ready to move on. Still, the longer you know characters, the more vested you become, the more you care. :cry:
 
Wow..just realized didn't share my own take...I chose P H.S./P H.S. I'm 23 now...went through H.S. and College at the same time Buffy did and I felt that as she got older, I could relate more and more to the maturity of her character and even though I still love the older episodes...I like the direction the show took 😀
 
I have definite favorite seasons but not per se era. I am P.H.S. however I didn't really like Buffy in college.

I HATED every episodes re:the parker situation, etc. but I also dislike season 1 Buffy because she seems so annoyingly young.

But to answer your question.... I like Buffy mostly post college which is where I am now in life.
 
I just got into HIgh School... Yeah, I always liked the post-High School era of Buffy. The High School era didn't seem... likely or something...

Yeah, and SMG looked even hotter after the High School era! 😛 Especially in Season 6!

I love all all buffy but I like s4,5,6 and 7 the most. when the show was still new I was just about ending high school and the rest ran when I was in college--
