Does Your First Online Account Name Embarrass You?

God, my first ever online account had some weird Monty Python-esque user-name, it was so dorky.

But after that I've always just used either part of my real name or thetopher.
 
Not really, but Smile Time is my best username yet 🙂
 
My BB username was my first online username. I quite like it. 😀
 
Not so much. I came out with my first user name during my Harry Potter crazy addiction phase (everybody's gone through that phase) and I still use it in my steam account for example, but I prefer my current one.
 
Back when the internet started to be a thing, it was ok because the probability your username would be available was high. So for example I registered a lot of my earlier online accounts as 'squirrel'. But nowadays if I wanted 'squirrel' I'd be out of luck because usernames such as animals tend to get used up quickly, so you end up having to settle for 'squirrel486' or whatever.

I knew I should have just stuck with 'dungbeetle' 😛 No one would choose 'dungbeetle'.

PS squirrel is not my embarrassing username. 😀
 
Come on guys! No one is actually sharing their embarrassing usernames!!

My embarrassing username is perestrelinha, I was in 6th grade and based it on some guy who achieved some milestone in the route to India. It was completely random. My 11 year old self was kind of creative. The name was Perestrelo, which sounds very male, and I added the "inha" to make it sound cute. Thankfully, you guys don't know how weird the name is since most of you don't know Portuguese 😉 It kind of reminds me of fish...
 
My username, in basically everything, used to be iGraangerz. Now I find it kind of lame but it still has a place in my heart so I still use it sometimes.
