When Echo, Sierra and Victor awaken in the Dollhouse with most of their original personalities and memories intact, Echo leads the charge to free the Actives from their apparent captivity and escape the Dollhouse forever. For me, here's the most fascinating thing about what's implied with that press release, and picture. If Echo becomes Caroline, where do they go from there? What's the series about once you get there?

In the last episode some sort of rebirth thing was going on, so what does that imply? Does Eliza become some new sort of character, neither Caroline nor Echo, but the best and worst of both? Something like that?

For me, here's the most fascinating thing about what's implied with that press release, and picture. If Echo becomes Caroline, where do they go from there? What's the series about once you get there?

My theory has been that Echo/Caroline will become a self-willed person with access to all the personalities she has been imprinted with during her time in the Dollhouse. It may take her some time to process them to the point she can sublimate them so they're under her control, and don't drive her insane as they did Alpha.

The rest of the story will be her and her "team" (maybe Victor, Sierra, Boyd... possibly Topher) dealing with outside forces like the Dollhouse owners, Alpha, Paul Ballard and the FBI... all of whom want to mess with them for various reasons.
