Dollhouse Alum Vamps Out

Burgeoning genre-TV queen Dichen Lachman has found something new to sink her teeth into "” the role of a bloodsucker, on Being Human.

The exotic onetime Dollhouse denizen is joining the Syfy drama in the series regular role of Izumi, "a reclusive, centuries-old vampire who causes upheaval" when she returns to her old Boston stomping grounds, Variety reports.

Since Dollhouse"˜s doors closed, Lachman has guest-starred on NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-0. She can next be seen (cough) turning heads on Torchwood: Miracle Day, which premieres July 8 on Starz.

I have a serious problem.. everytime I see her name I think Cloris Leachman.. it was a strange mental image I had in me head reading this.

And worlds collide: a Dollhouse actress playing a vampire! Heh-heh. I don't know, I'm not watching Being Human, but I'm glad she's getting roles. Can't wait to see her in Torchwood: Miracle Day, but I'm not sure if that's a recurring role.

I'm not a "Dollhouse" fan, but I am a "Being Human" fan, so it will be weird to see her on BH....

I remember her from Dollhouse the season I really watched this would be interesting I am glad she is going to be on Being Human love the show. Although I did come here hoping to see Summer's name lol I don't even know if she was an alum?

Well I think Dichen Lachman is great so I'm thrilled to see this. I've never seen Being Human though so I can't say much about that show 🙂
