Eliza Dushku, Fran Kranz and Dichen Lachman got submitted for various categories in the Performers section. The show itself was put forward for Outstanding Drama Series in the Program section.

And those cast categories are:

Eliza - Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series
Fran - Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series
Dichen - Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series

If you wondering, the show did not get listed in the Writing or Directing sections (as far as I can tell).

Other shows nominated for nominations are Christian Kane's Leverage, David Boreanaz's Bones, & Aly's HIMYM

Academy of Television Arts Sciences

Well I'll keep my fingers crossed that any of them get noms but I won't get my hopes up, cause well, it actually happening would be too good to be true considering how the Emmys LOVE to snub Joss. If I had to pick just one of them to get it it would have to be Dichen, she really was stand-out IMO.

As for David And Emily never having been nominated for Bones STILL, I say WTF?!!?!

I agree! Emily definitley deserves one!!!
Yeah, this really isn't the type of show the Emmy voters tend to go for. I don't think anyone should be too offended by a lack of an emmy nomination for their favorite shows though. It isn't just that Joss gets snubbed by the Emmys, the Emmys are kind of outdated in how they are done. Nominations are selected by invididual episodes or clips that may not be done justice for shows that are based on long-running story archs and character growth. Not that I don't understand that the Emmy voters can't have time to watch every episode of every series that comes out, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of quality television won't get rewarded doing things this way.

If I had to choose for a winner I would go with Dichen cause she's an amazing actress. Why is Fran on the list? he's good and all but I expected it to be either Tamoh or Enver to be nominated for a nominee.

I'm kind of disappointed that some of the more impressive actors (mainly Enver, Amy, Alan, Harry J. Lennix, and Olivia) weren't submitted, but it's nice to see that Dollhouse is at least going to get a fighting chance in the Emmy ballots. Still, I think we can all pretty much agree that there's pretty much no chance that anything Dollhouse-related will make it to the actual list of nominees, not because it's not deserving (even Dollhouse's weak first few episodes were far better than most of the garbage that gets nominated) but because the Emmy voters hate sci-fi and shows that aren't either super mainstream or on a cable network.

Thats exciting. Though just shows how networkist they are against smaller networks like CW-->TheWB and all the shows that missed out.

That's very exciting news! And WOOT for the other Whedon-alumni, too. It would surprise me though if Eliza/Fran/Dichen actually get nominated. Emmy people tend to go for the 'bigger' shows anyway.

Even if they do win they might just not even show it like last year with Buffy!

Well, I doubt they'd skip it, since the categories that they could potentially be nominated for are all some of the biggest in the ceremony whereas the Buffy one was an obscure, online-only thing.
But could you imagine if it did win one award? Fox would be overly happy to have a emmy nominated show and a emmy awarded show at that.

That's... confusing. Personally, I think Victor's actor is by far the most talented based on S1 of Dollhouse. He disappeared behind his Lubov-persona, and was equally convincing a Southern horse trainer and FBI Agent. Eliza's been enjoyable to watch, but she never escapes her Boston manner of speaking, the guy who plays Victor doesn't have that issue.

You mean her boston accent? cause I honestly didn't notice it except in episode 3.
Yay!! Go Dollhouse!! It's good to see that they're getting some recognition, even if they don't win them. 🙂

Also really happy to see Aly got a nom for her role in HIMYM 😀

Any kind of recognition is of the good. DH needs all the publicity it can get. Winning would help Fox not be so Fox I'm sure. Crossing fingers for us all.
