Dollhouse opening credits.

I think the images they picked and the text, like Lurker said, is a bit cheesy.

I like the song a lot more in this version, but the opening titles seem really short in comparison to Buffy, Angel or Firefly. Maybe I'm imagining it. 😀

I'm loving this drive towards shorter - but not non-existant - opening credits. In the episode it worked really well. It fitted with the slightly more thoughtful tone that I felt the episode had compared to my expectations. I like it. Plus, the little clockwork music box winding down at the end was genius, especially with the wonderful image of them going to sleep in their boxes. Great play on the "Dollhouse" theme. It makes me think that's going to be a large consideration in the show, and that's great.

I think it was okay. It was not really quick, or catchy like Buffy's (and Angel's) opening tune. but it's a completely different show and that asks, obviously, for a different kind opening music. I think it sort of resembles the serenity of the wiped minds of the dolls. And the bit at the end was great, with the xylophoney bit.
I do wonder where Joss left the other people in the images. Overall, it's of course nice to see Eliza, but they could have picked better, more exciting bits. But I guess that for the first episode you don't want to show too many images from later on in the show. With Buffy they also regularly changed the images of the intro mid season.

I looooooooove the opening credits and want the darn song for download.
And since I don't stop by as much as I like to these days, might I also add that I LOVE Dollhouse. I've watched it 8 times..plus a lot of other scenes over and over. You know, like Eliza dancing.
Anyways...that's it.

It's not that I "don't like" the theme song... I just don't think it fits the show AT ALL. I think it should have something more attune to Buffy's theme song. Something jumpy, quick - jivy. Angel's theme song fit that show perfectly (IMHO) as did the Firefly theme.

.... It's not too late for them to reconstruct that, ya know! 😀

i LOVE it. i think it really gives that feel of the mystery surrounding the dollhouse, and echo's mystery of figuring out who she is... and the playful toylike xylophone at the end caps it off perfectly.

also, you know joss changes his titles a lot throughout seasons, yes it's all eliza right now, but id put money on it after so many episodes that'll change.
