Saw a few people that were interested in re-watching this show. I know we have the specific episode discussion threads, but it won't hurt to have a discussion dedicated to a re-watch.

So first things first, who's in!
 
I'm down to rewatch the show. I've seen it twice as a whole. Almost a year ago was the last time I saw it, so I can use a refresher. Anyone else interested?
 
I'd love to, but I've just re-watched the first couple of episodes and am now starting Homeland. I can't manage watching many shows simultaneously.
Anyhow, have fun, guys!! I'm gladly gonna be reading your thoughts and opinions. 🙂
 
Nice, do you guys want to fallow a certain schedule?! If enough people are in maybe we could watch something like 1-2 episode a week so that we have time to discuss
 
I can do 2 episodes a week probably. There's only 26 episodes so it just depends on how fast you want to go through the series.

Me too. I think it's two a week tops for me if I'm to have time for a re-watch 🙂
 
Same for me! 2/week is probably my max with the crazy schedule! I'll try to watch episode 1 tonight 😀
 
Yea, I'm already doing the Angel ReWatch and a Gilmore Girls ReWatch for podcasts right now. Which I recommend if you like those shows. So 2 a week is max.

Are we starting with episodes 1 and 2 this week?

When are we going to be discussing each episode? Are we going to talk about both episodes at once or keep them separate?
 
One or two a week is the max for me too.

Maybe watch them some time during the week and then review at the weekend? Or maybe 1 on fridays and then 1 on tuesdays?

I'll be watching episode 1 tonight to refresh my memory- it'll be my dose of Eliza for the coming few days anyway. 😀

Gotta get your Eliza fix in every few days. I watch Tru Calling a lot too.
I think it's a good idea to keep them separate.


So schedule will more or less be:

Week 33: "Ghost" and "The Target"
Week 34: "Stage Fright" and "Gray Hour"
Week 35: "True Believer" and "Man on the Street"
Week 36: "Echoes" and "Needs"
Week 37: "Spy in the House of Love" and "Haunted"
Week 38: "Briar Rose" and "Omega"
Week 39: "Eptiath" and season overview discussion?

Then possibly a weeks break or something before we power on with the second season. How does that sound?

Is this week, week 33? Sounds like a good schedule to me. When are we going to discuss them then? One on Saturday and the other on Sunday maybe?

Yes this week is 33.
Sounds like a good idea. Though the more I think of it the less practical it might be to keep them separate, not everyone will be able to participate on multiple days. So how about this, every Friday I (or someone else willing) will post an episode discussion post for both episodes and then we have until next Friday (when a new post appears) to discuss.

One can just post something like this;


Dollhouse Re-watch Season 1
Episode discussion: "Ghost" (1) and "The Target" (2)


Discussion 1: your thoughts on Ghost.
Bla bla bla Eliza bla bla Tahmoh bla bla bla Dollhouse etc

Discussion 2: your thoughts on The Target
Bla bla guns bla bla bla woods bla bla bla coolness etc

Thoughts so far on the season:
Totally awesome intro. I'm so hooked. (e.g.)

Awww, this would be awesome. I've just finished Friends and am taking my brother through Homeland atm. Would love to show him Dollhouse but I've got a feeling he will be reluctant to watch it, this would be a perfect excuse for that. I'll try and get involved in this.

I agree. Every Friday sounds like a good idea.
 
Perfect! I was just thinking that I needed a new show to watch.

Anyone know where I can watch them online? I don't own it on DVD.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it at the library.

Okay, so to clarify, we are to watch eps 1 and 2 and then discuss on Friday?
