Ok, well, legitimate shirty points made either side. This is quite clearly one of those discussions that could go on for awhile resulting in less and less interesting posts. Clearly we agree to disagree and I take it that you were thinking I was putting words in your mouth over deliberately making false arguments at your expense. One thing I have on a forum, is my word so i'm obviously not gonna take that being called into question...ie...using false arguments to prove my own point. Done, dusted.
I'm trying to boil this down...which is quite difficult. My only singular point is that a FOX has shown interest in the show, renewed it closely, yet put it in the same situation that led to a very close renewal...I just don't see how they expect things to be different this time around. I expect close call #2.
Either way, its seems we agree on so many points...just not its execution. All i'll say is Dollhouse has (since its renewal) been given a new lease on life...I wont accept anything less than the appropriate 18-49 timeslot and a decent advertising campaign. Advertising has been Dollhouse's strong suit but clearly something has to change...something. The show? That's already receiving acclaim.

My answer is its a default 18-49 show in a timeslot where every other station has either rejected the demo or established it over time for the upper 30-49 demo (GW, Numb3rs). Dollhouse isn't a fit... logically or statistically.
