Heres a link to the 'supposed' cover, its on Amazon.com, not sure if its the official one but i might as well post it here.

If it is real i really don't like it, you'd think they'd finally acknowledge that there are other cast members besides Eliza, but i guess not.

Especially since the other characters were often more engaging. Who didn't love Victor?

One of my big problems with the show was the lack of this. For instance, the theme tune grew on me but shot after shot of ONLY Dushku (purdy as she may be) did not.

I don't like it. For one, I'm not a fan of white, 2.) I'm not into the whole Chicks with Guns thing, and 3.) the motto "Anyone can happen" is just...weird.
 
It's alright. I mean it's not any different really from the season 1 cover beyond the fact they've used a different promo shot of Eliza. It would be nice to see other characters on the cover, but Echo is the protagonist and the catalyst- so it makes sense. Besides on all my Buffy DVD covers only Sarah is on the covers and no one else. Same for the Angel set.

I'm just not keen on the gun pic. I mean not saying EVERY guy likes the girls-with-gun image but using such a shot is clearly appealing to the guys more than women.
 
I don't mind that the Dollhouse cover doesn't feature any of the other cast. Who should even be on there? Victor and Sierra? Adelle and Topher? Boyd and Paul? I think it would make it crowded and ugly. I don't like the photo used or the layout of the text. The season 1 cover was much nicer.

Same here. I always liked the region 2 covers better than the region 1 covers that I've seen. The region 1 ones just look weird with other characters placed on there, especially the Angel DVDs where it's just Cordelia next to Angel, and then Spike. Buffy season 4 and 6 are the worst. Willow and the Gentlemen? What's that about? And then Dark Willow and Xander. Is that not a bit stupid to put that on the cover?
 
I kinda like the text used, it's a complete jumble but it still reads as Dollhouse. I wonder is that because I know the title of the show though, would someone else who picked it up be like " what the hell does that say? " for me Echo was a dull character but Eliza is hot, so i guess that's why she's on the cover. Pretty girl with a gun sells, which probably isn't a good thing. I think the tagline is horrible though.

I know - it's like there's no method to the madness. Like you said- the Gentlemen. What the hell? With stuff like that featuring and then random cast members added to the cover each season it makes me feel perhaps they were designed by people not very up on the show and it's storylines.
 
I really, really don't like this cover. The composition is all not-so-much. The red/brown crap color is really annoying, and the "season backwards-s" thing looks out of place...it just seems off!
 
The cover is actually quite nice, but it looks really plain and simple like they couldn't be bothered.
I do like the text, it's just very meh. I am a little dissapointed, i agree Min i liked the s1 cover better.
I wonder if the region 2 cover while be different or the same?

I saw s1+s2 combined a while ago, (i think it was on boxsetforless.com) i remember really liking the cover, ( i think). 😛

I love that image, I think it's awesome.

But I hope thats not the final design, and more of a rough draft as the lay out is all ugly and off. And the tag line is stupid!

So I'm okay with them keeping the image but fix the stuff around it.

I think it works really well with season 1, the cover for season 1 is more 'pastelly' and calm (like the first season) this one is more in your face and kick ass (like season 2)

Off topic but how much do I love your banner? I think that's my favourite line of dialogue since Angel ended, it was practically Whedonesque. Just watched the Madonna ep and can't decide which I love more, the walk through the school where we see all the girls dressed in the various phases of Madonna (who's that girl my favourite) or Sue in her homemade Vogue video (Kurt especially looks like he's loving every minute)

lol, that was an awesome ep. I LOVED the line in my sig too, haven't laughed so much from a single line in forever!
I like the cover. Eliza is beautiful, and she really does epitomize the show as a whole.

Now I just hope this is released before I get to that point on my Whedon re-run 🙂
 
I think the cover is ok (would work GREAT as a poster) but wish it was something more in line with S1 cover. But since the S1 cover didnt have the main cast, no reason why this one should.
 
"Anyone can happen" is a very silly tagline, and the rest of the cover is dull and messy. Colour me unimpressed.
 
Girls with Guns, Big Yes from me, tag line is good for the series. Not sure the problem with it. I want to see the side of the box, since thats what you see when its on your shelf anyways (sw)
