I made the horrible mistake of not bringing any diapers with me to my daughter's 2 week appointment, and wouldn't you know it she blew poo clear out her diaper, onto her clothes, onto me and onto the floor.... My doula had to go beg the front desk for a diaper and she came back with this old weird lookin brown diaper that looked like a folded up paper bag. It was SO EMBARRASSING. After that I never EVER go ANYWHERE w/o diapers. My husband thinks it's insane but let's have her canon ball her poo out of her diaper on HIS watch with no backup!

Cigarettes
Lighter
ID (incase I need to buy more cigarettes!)
My bank card
Perfume (I have a fear of being smelly)
And like Kean, I am ALWAYS wearing my claddagh ring (it was a gift from my family that I cherish more than anything in the world... definitely NOT a buffy thing)
Oh and I'm generally wearing clothes (but I have proved before that it isn't essential)

It all goes into my handbag ofcourse, most of the time I also have a book (but not when I go out with friends and stuff) on me and normally I have panadol just in case. Ive always got lots of crap, seriously have like a Mary Poppins bag. If Im out on a pub crawl or somethin and it starts to rain, I normally whip out an umbrella and my friends are like WTF? how the hell did you fit that in there? hehe.

Whenever I go out, the only thing I think is essential is money and ID. I always need ID since I even get asked my age for buying DVDs.:tongue:

What things do you feel that you absolutely cannot do without in your day to day routine?

Clothes (Shut up! I do need that in my daily routine. I don´t feel comfortable being nude a whole day unless I spend a huge majorrity of it in bed.)

Cellphone. But in no way needed.
Mp3-player. No I don´t have an ipod but I want my music. Way more important than my cellphone.
My necklace. I feel a bit naked without it...
My back pack. Or a sports bag kind of thing. It´s my purse damnit!! :tongue: Give me a break. The back pack is the trade mark for leisure time teachers.
In my bag: Pen, paper, calender, camera (I got an ancient cellphone ok?), batteries, chewing gum and possibly throat lozenge depending on the season.


Hmmm, what have I forgot? I always forget something.

edit: Painkillers should be in the bag. And tissues or paper of some kind.

I feel VERY uncomfortable when I wear a watch. Hate the watch. Hate it. It binds and restricts me my wrist movement, I do not like the feel the weight of it. Eeww. Just the idea of wearing one gives me the nerves.
